Full Tilt Booter Question

That's really weird that they say rigid boot board on the website though. It used to say active... Maybe they changed it.

sorry for the double post, but if you could do me a favor and take out the boot board, if it's hard plastic all the way around it's ridged, if its got rubber then its active, this will help solve the question - I know mines ridged (but mine are 09s).
To take the boot board out just take the liner out and flip the boot over, the boot board should just come right out.

^ hes actually right
I went to my room to check and alas, rigid boot board. It would say active boot board on the shell if it had one. Sorry about that. Full Tilt screwed up the website (fixed now) and catalog.

I sorta just answered this but... the ridged boot board is just hard plastic while the active boot board has rubber in it so it absorbs big landing better. The boot board is located under the liner in the foot bed.

Incorrect. I too have the 2010 booter and I emailed FT to ask. They said they messed up and the booters actually have the rigid.

yeah, that's what I figured. It doesn't make sense to put the active board in the Booter cause then no one would buy the Hot Dogger cause that, the liner and the #6 flex are the only big differences and it would be cheaper to just get the Booter and buy a #6 and say "screw it" to the liner (although that liner is really nice). Thanks for checking.

According to FT, some people like the rigid bootboard better... who knows. All I know is that my local shop charged me 450 for the booters and once you factor in the cost fo a 6 flex tongue, the pro liner, and the active bootboard, it would have been a better value to buy the hot doggers. I guess it's okay that they charged more, I could have bought them for 400 online, but then spent over 50 bucks to get em molded and stuff.

yeah, I'm looking to get the 2010 Hot Doggers cause I would love to have the boot board and the liner and like you said it's cheaper to get the boots than all the accessories - which is the way it should be, cause like I said, if it was cheaper to get the booters, the active boot board, the pro liner, and the #6 tongue then no one would buy the Hot Dogger (or any upper line boot from FT for that matter).
