Hey, I am getting new boots next season and I'm curious about the new Drop Kick. At SIA, they seemed to emphasize that it was a value oriented boot, do you think it's gonna be cheaper than the booter? Because I'm gonna get whatevers cheaper and the drop kick look sick. Thanks.

I believe that it's to replace the price point boot in the old FT mold. So, it's the old booter, because the new booter is the wide model. DON'T JUST BUY THE CHEAPEST MODEL though, if the booter is the cheapest it might not fit your feet correctly and your foot will be swimming in them which will make skiing and control your skis difficult and lead to blisters, on the other side, the Drop Kick might be the cheapest model, but it might to skinny which will lead to tons of discomfort and poor blood circulation. You need to find the boot that fits you best, not the just the cheapest model...oh, and they might not be FTs...

Ok I'm not completely basing my decision on price but I just thought you guys would want to know. I was just at my local shop and the owner showed me net years ft catalogue. The booters are $385 and the drop kicks are $449.

450? that's effed. i feel like the performer liner is worth less than just 50 than the pro

I know dude. I'm pissed now because this looked sick. Maybe I'll find some older model booters or hot doggers because I just can't afford this stiff haha.

Yeah that's what I thought. My shops only got Seth Morrison pro models left but I'm going to okemo tomorrow so maybe some shops around there might have a few left.
