Full Blast

Using a song that's already been used in a ski movie is a big no no.... but It's cool seeing places I've actually been to.
 
sweet, i don't think there is anything wrong with using a good song in that trailer even if its been used before, why does everyone care so much
 
re-using songs is pretty much an unwritten rule in making sports movies. if your making a ski movie and you use a song thats been in another SKI movie, its wrong. if your making a ski movie with a song thats in a SNOWBOARD movie, thats better but still wrong. Reusing music is like the worst thing you can do.
 
how would you know these 'rules' anyways you suck at making movies so shut up. and i think if its a good song then use it, dont be a fag and follow pretend rules.
 
everyone who makes movies is aware of these rules, and if my movies suck make one yourself (filmed, edited, everything yourself) and show me that yours are better
 
well if everyone knows it, then why was that in the full blast trailer, which i thought was awesome (liked how there was more shots of skiing than the city and cars and rain and shit like that)
 
who cares, its a good song, and goes well with the teaser

and ya, its mostly 16mm and everyhting else is from a GL2! 3ccd baby!
 
Chad, your movie is pretty good but there is just alot of time lapses.

Thats a bit off topic but i felt like id say that since we're talking about movie making.
 
are these ur made up rules...cuz ive never seen em, sure id have to agree, not very original but if u use the song and make it work with the trailer then more power to ya!
