some people act like there the worst skis for powder and that they can't turn like shit well you just have to learn how to ski right that's all just like a while ago there was a thread about the t halls how do they turn in powder peoples quotes were exactly like mine, if you know how to ski right they'll be just fine so yes im sure there absolutely fine for the powder!

hmmm well i skied them in pow b4...obviously wat he said is true ^, u can ski them in powder, but there not ideal...i found they were 2 flexible and were hard to get used to in pow

k armadas are pretty dope in pow. and that bullshit about learning to ski fujatives...its fucking bullshit. they are just like any other ski out there just a little but softer. people who say you have to learn how to ski them cant ski

im sure they would be alright in powder. but from what i have found, if youre really skiing pow you need a fat ski. a mid fat just makes skiing doable, a fat ski makes it fun

well they are not that fat especially for utah but they would deffinately work pretty well just compare the dimensions of the armadas to the fujatives and see if there is any or much difference and if theres no big change in dimensions then just stick with the armadas because those will work just fine for you most likely

They are average to good in powder, every ski can ski in powder, it's just fatter longer ones are easier.

i've had a lot of fun on my fujatives in powder. best when the pow is light, they float really well, they don't make turns very powerfully. but i don't turn much anyway. in soft powder it feels like you're not even touching the ground. not as good if the snow gets cruddy, it gets a little tougher to turn. overall, i think they are fun as hell, try it!

My fugitaives work fine in pow. I think theyre the perfect all around ski because they're kinda fat but still easy to use in the park. If you want a ski for just pow I wouldnt get them though cause there is way better

i kinda like them in pow. if you're relatively small, they r ok.

I'm relatively small, 5'5'', 115 and I ski 176 gotamas...

Scratch174, thank you.

I only used them 3 times in powder, but I could charge pretty hard, because the flex would help to initiate a pretty hard turn when I got in trouble.

IE heading towards a rock/ice wall when I lost balance and throwing it over at the last second.

They float alright... probably not too well in super deep or light snow though.

d-structure has some deals on moship flites and maybe some other fat skis right now. only like 315 or something. would be a lot better than the fujatives i would think

im 5'4" and 130lbs.

should i get something besides fujatives, i wanted them becuase they are really cheap..if anyone has a used pair, ill buy!

i thought motherships only came in 176 or something...to big for me...

i want a ski to float on, so thats why i think the AR5s would be too skinny, i could learn to ski on them, but i want to have fun out west, not work my ass off for a few good turns...i guess...

from your first post on this thread, it appears that you are strap for cash. i believe the fuji is not that much bigger than the ar5(i could be wrong), so i would say to stick with them for this season. remember back in the good old days where ppl uses skinny straight 210 to ski pow? they seem to be doing just fine without a 130mm under their feet. i think the new gen. of skiiers are not as good compare to skiers a decade ago.

mine work great in powder. but if i was moving to utah i'd pick up the jp/julians on ebay. or arv's if you still want to ski park.

If you already have ar5's, there is no sence in getting another park ski for powder. the fujative waists are only 85mm while ar5's are prob around 80mm. It's not that big of a jump. they can ski powder fine as my friend really liked them with powder and everything else. If you are getting something for powder, just go a lot bigger and get somethign with a waist of at least 90-95.

i cant take him[liam downey] seriously cuz his name reminds me of that downy bear from back when i was a kid -d loc

I don't deny there are bad things in the US right now, hell, 51% of the country to be exact. But god damnit, our country being fat is NOT a problem. I do't give a shit how fat people are. hell, fat kids are harder to kidnap, that means our country is safer.

-Melvs

hah yeah hes right i just read your post. if you're getting powder skis- GO OVER 95 wait AT LEAST. dont waste your money. the jump is so insignificant.

if youe bigger than a wee one posiibly a jumbo one get some really really fat skis!

small= viscious , pistol , moships

bigger= maidens , gotomas , bloods , surfaces

'skis are like girls , the more you have the better'

PEs are also skinnier under the boot.

not so good for pow dair.

You can get Pistols in a 159 or 169. I'm not sure about the new Vicious, but I think it may only be 179 and 189.

Anyway, the Pistol would be a perfect do-it-all ski for you.
