Fujatives delamming

ive only rode my 06 fujatives 3 times and theyre delamming. not the tip or the tail, but halfway between my heilpiece of my binding and the end of the tail. About a strip of four inches is peeling up

My questions are:

Does delamination affect the ski's performance?

Will it get worse if i keep riding them without fixing it

How can it be fixed?

water gets into the core and the ski loses camper and pop and eventually just becomes a big lame noodle.

and to anwser the other question either warranty or a shop should be able to epoxy it if you cant do it yourself

If I were you, I'd take them into your shop. If they offer to send them in immediately and give you a replacement the same day do that. If they say they'll send them in to K2 and you'll get your warranty in a few weeks ski them until the end of the season or the end of your warranty, whatever comes first and then send them in. Delamming doesn't really affect the ski too much but the core will get wet and start to rot and the ski will eventually snap.

bring em back..they should replace them but if they dont a ski shop that does repairs should be able to epoxy..ive had epoxy work done on a snowboard back in the day..didnt fix my board r.i.p.

i bought them off of untracked.com Al's Ski Barn

so sending em back is probably not an option

so i guess ill ski my rock skis until i get this fixed

Since you bought them online, call k2 and get a return authorization number. Since you bought them online from a reputable dealer they should give you the #. Then proceed to put them in the mail and ship them to k2 with the RA# on the outside of the box. And in the amount of time it took for you to ask about this you could have called k2 yourself in the first place and just simply asked.
