Fujative Vs. Invader

Im 5'9" 140, and i would be doing like 70% park and 30% all mountain.

There both going at the same price on evogear, so going for the cheaper one doesnt really help

i would go with the fujis just because the fuji from what ive heard is a good ski. plus lines been having durability problems with the invaders. if theyre the same price i would get the fujatives.

i think youll be fine on the fujatives outside of park. they are fun skis because they are pretty soft but still skiable outside.

they are both a park ski from what i hear the invader is sick for buttering anything because of the flex system but tons and tons of delam because of ink in topsheet affecting epoxy (heard from line) havnt heard a great deal on the fuji no its a great ski for inside and outside park. the invaders will be sick once they get the warranty issues fixed try next years lines

fujis are sick in and out of the park, but invaders are a bit easier to butter on (not that its hard to butter on the fujis)

Ya, if you plan on center mounting them, you will want to go with the 178mm... If you are gonna get this years skis, I would probably go with the fujis because like stated, the invader has the tendency to delaminate... but i'm holding out for the 07 invaders which should have the problem fixed...

the fugie's, my friend has em and can ride anything on them and they still butter like no other. if you want a ski (from what i've heard and seen) that falls apart not even in a full season then get the invader.

word.

i'm like 5'10, 120lbs and i ride 169 fujatives and i can handle them fine

you being 20 more pounds would man handle them

i have fujatives, they arent all that durable to be honest, the topsheet is full of chips and scratched to shit. the edges have cracked the bases didnt hold up as woll as i expected, i only skiied them about 8 times too, honestly i recomend you get the invader, ive had line skis and theyre the most duraable skis ive ever owned, as for the invaders topsheet a lot of people didnt have problems

i have the fujis and the topsheet does chip but the edges are sooo durable and the bases are great so far. on the fujis the tail and nose are softer so its super easy to butter, i can go anywhere on them and there mounted at pretty much dead center, the tips are fat so the tips dont dive too bad in powder, i realy like them, there really stable because of the fatness, for bindings get the ti's because there lighter and the ski is kind of heavy. if youre centering them get the 179's but if you putting them at core center get the 169's

i would go with the fujis cuz ur icon is of k2 so that way u wont have to go through the hassle of changing it

Yah i agree, i have 05 fujis and my bro has invaders, i just started to beat down my fujis this year and flex them out a lot. HOly fuck is all i can say, i can butter on tru tips, its crazy. I think the fujis are like crazy at softness and buttering. My bros invaders; well he hasn't flexed them much at all so he hasn't really done much buttering. I heard they were great tho, but with all the delamination and shit. I'd have to say go with the fujis, they are ccccrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaazyyyyyyyyyyy

well you could handle the 179 but yoru a little light. the fujatives are a flexy ski so u wouldnt have trouble skiing them. Gain weight and buy the 179 fujis. no invaders unless its next years. This years sucked horribly.

i think the 179 would be way to big for me considering my weight, but most of you are saying the fujis because they didnt have as much problems as the invaders and they are essentially the same ski...

correct?

Im only an inch taller than u and i ski stl 183's and i only weigh 155. Considering the flex difference in the skis the 179 wouldnt be that outragous. And if its a ski for next season , you need to consider that u are going to get bigger. The invader is almost pure park and the durribility is awful. If u want a ski to ski on and also kill the park with id go fuji's hands down. The size is whatever u feel comfortable with. Every skier is different.

i think there really just like the same ski, i mean i know there not but, there both unique, super soft, soft tip tails, strong, about the same girth, everyone loves them both

dont get the fujis evryone has them be differnt and get the invaders all the people in this forum have fujis if they all had invaders they would be saying go with the in invaders so go with the invaders they rock

U have no fuckin clue. If everyone had invaders we would be enforcing the fuji's even more cuz invaders suck my ass 50 times over. The duribility it shitty. A kid i ski with had 3 pairs this season befor he got salomon foils and another friend of mine had his invaders delam after 3 fuckin hours of skiing. Everyone has fuji's cuz thay kick ass. who cares if everyone else has them. Get better than them and people will still notice you. Its not like if everyone has a ski they all ski the same. Go with the fujis bro u wont be disipointed. And just to proove this kid wrong i ski 4frnt stl 183's.

you dont know what your talking about. and having a line icon makes me think your opinion is of course going to be get the lines. Both are sick and very similar flex. either would work, but invaders simply arnt durable; fujatives are.

If you think that the invader is well put together and is even a semi durible ski then i have a hard time beleaving that u even own a pair. I cant tell you how many pairs of invaders ive seen delamed and loosing edges. You guys are crazy for getting a ski because no one has it. People ride fujis for a reason thats all im sayin.

fujatives are really nice out of the park, for a park ski atleast. It carves nice and its wide enough to be able to float on pow pretty easily. Im pretty sure invaders suck all mtn although i have no experiance with them.

Definately get a size larger, the 179 fujis would be good for you. I'm an inch taller than you and the same weight and I love mine.
