Fujative Core Center

I noticed today while looking at my skis that the mark for core center is not acutally in the middle of the ski. It is back a couple of centimeters from the center. What is the core center? I had always assumed that it meant the exact midpoint of the ski. Thanks for the help.

thats very helpful. so it sounds like if i want the best of the forward and backward worlds i should go for core center?

Definately, I haven't regreted my mount one bit. Also if you move them up any further there kinda squirlish to ski on.

Well if you have fujis i assume youre gonna be doin a ton of park skiing so i would mount at true center. My skis are mounted +1cm from true center even.

correct. core center utilizes the flex points, as well as the shape of the ski better than mounting true center

nah guy your wrong, core center is where the core is at it's thickest... midsole is the center of the sidecut

core center is where the binding matte is in some skis(sticky stuff that keeps your bindings in)/where the company suggests that you mount

my o7s are mounted core centre and they are perfect switch and easy to butter and press, nose and tail. any further up and its like trying to ski on turntables, squirelly as hell flat basing at speed. good balance on rails at core cntr.
