Tecnica's Hot Form system is more advanced. It involves conducive fibers in the liner itself and a special "liner warmer" that heats the liner to mold by hooking up to a little adapter on the liner that looks like the top of a 9volt battery.
The liner and its molding system do a way better job of molding to your feet than most "heat form liners"(of which 99% are shit anyways), and also mold the outside of the liner to the inside of the boot, which is a good thing. As well, it's repeatable pretty much as many times as you want, and you can heat up/dry your liners using either a wall mounted or car adapter, without remolding.
Not to mention how great Tecnicas fit out of the box.
