so here goes, I gotta get this off my chest. I've going out with this rad chick for a couple weeks now, and we're really into each other. Here's the hitch, she's a good buddy of mine's younger sister. Now before you jump to conclusions, she's 20 and turning 21 in sept, so not a kid by any stretch of the imagination. Now I was sleeping there last night when he barged into her room at 2:00 AM and started yelling and screaming. Woke their parents and everything (who by the way are alright with the situation) and yelled for me to leave. So I left(Ihad work early). He then tore strip outta her and said some really harsh things. This morning I get up and realize that there are some rather large scratches on the hood of my truck that weren't there the evening before... Any helpful pointers cause I'm going fuckin' insane!

a good friend of mine was recently in that same situation (without the vehicle damage). In the end they had to break up because it was destroying the girl's relationship with her brother which, sorry to say, is more important.

You should have talked to him about it earlier. If he knows that you are serious and aren't fucking with her it will be easier for him to accept it. It will always be a sore spot so dont flaunt it in front of him. Also make sure you and the chick take it hell slow (or at least pretend too). If he thinks you are treating her right he wont be so psycho.

From my experience things will work out with him but it will take a while and it wont be easy - losing a friend sucks!. You also need to be conscious of the sibbling bond. As someone said above you cant come between family. However, you cant come between love, both are really special things

we seem to have left the realm of serious advice but like some other's have said I would try and talk to him about it. I would personally rather have my little sis dating friends of mine who I know well than a lot of the tools she dates who I know nothing about at all and quite frankly don't trust. Make it clear to him that you have nothing but the best intentions and that you would never do anything to hurt her. Hopefully once that all sinks in with him (provided of course he's actually able to accept it which may not be likely as it sounds like he's quite the hot head) he will come to the realization that she could be going out with far worse guys and that she's old enough to make her own decisions.
