Fucking ride on rails

I hate when my park puts up a feature and then it is just purely ride on. it makes it like impossible to get on smoothly, because most of the rid eon feaures are like up at first (rainbow or up-flat-down or a-frame) and its soo gay, PLus you cna't go into it very fast otherwise you slam hella hard. i wish all parks would just fucking put a gap in. And if they don't want to put a jump in to make it "harder" then they should atleast make it flat before the rail. not like an upsloap directly into the rail, because it looks like shit, and is way to risky to nut for the shitty product if you do get it clean.

no it isn't. it looks fucking gay and its not even fun. I would rather have a big gap. Poepl will say well its more tech or harder. Well a big gap is just as hard or ballsy and it looks like 8923747 times better.

i was watchin yearbook today and in it sarah burke does this thing on a ride on trap where she turns to stop before the up part and slides onto it sideways

may be worth a try if its impossible to get on to

but what I'm saying is that looks gay as balls. Why would you want to turn onto an edge before hitting the rail? looks like ass i say.

yea my mountain has that problem. Rainbows, roller coasters (from Propaganda), and battleships are just built for snowboarders with no jump on just some snow goin up to it.

yea sometimes when its ride on and thee is a bump onto it, you always air too much off that and get screwd on it. at my moountain the hill where the rails are is flat, and there is a trap thats more than a 45 degree angle up. fuckin impossible to get on without a jump to slide the top.

I like ride on rails and i have no trouble getting on

I also like rails with a gap in the middle but as long as ther is a big enuff jump before it and the gap isn't like 5ft

What I don't like is when ther is a ledge about a foot high made of snow and the rails is two ft. straight above it and you have to jump 2 ft to get onto the rail (which is impossible for me)

They should just make every straight rail an urban setup where you hop on from the side, and every rainbow should have a 10 foot transition into it. That would make me a happy little boy.

All the rails and boxes at my mountain are ride on. It sucks, because I asked the park guy about it and he said that it was a snowboard park. Then, he basically said skiers suck and should not be in the park but are only allowed so they dont wine. I was sad. However, there is ONE rail, but it is like four feet high and I am not ready to get my nuts smashed. Oh well.

Well you really cannot back shit up unless you have a good skier that can rip shit up. At our mountain it was like that also with the natzi snowboarders running the park BUT we realized that to get some respect is to earn it. So sack it up and learn cooler shit than any other boarder is doing in the park.

tru you cant just have a ride on rail, i find it more difficult to ride it plus it does look gay. you need that gap in there to get the easy pop. w

when will people learn

ride on boxes aren't as bad. although once i was skiing at killy in the mini park and rode onto a box. flew forward and ate shit, kind of embarassing. i still don't know why it happened

i woul like it if there were more DOWN rails like that, but not straight ones. it would get redundant. but i do like when its like a stepup onto the rail. like the box at laster years Masters.

yeah i agree every year at my mountain they have this up flat up that is just about impossible for me to get on. I don;t want no ten foot gap but maybe a two or three foot gap would be good

i dont agree, I finad sliding onto rails is sick looking. It's so much harder than just the normal way of getting on (im not including 270's) but it's sick looking, and fun.

I don't see how this will solve my problem at all. see the problem is there is no way to pop it is just like flat then straight up into the rail. it's like hitting a wall almost. How would you ever have enough time to spin? It's hard enough to get your skis to 90 degrees without having to like turn before while still on the snow. You slam soooo hard if you try to pop

if i see another ride on fucking rainbow rail i am going to blow a whole in my head. rainbows are so fun. ride on rainbows... not so much.

no thers definatly a way. just go in with speed and pop...

Well what I do with ride on rails (for example a trap) I go in with more speed, and turn my body before the rail stayin super relaxed (like T. Heed) and slide the rail like that. In my opinion it looks sick, and the only downside is that your feet are fairly close together, but that's not a problem for most people who can keep their balance

That is nothing compared to what I'm tlaking about. That jump is mucccch more acceptable than some of the rails I've seen. They look like this....

The faster you go the harder you slam into the up part, no matter if you pop or not because you are never going to be able to pop enough to disaster the first part. I don't see how anyone could pop enough to not have to turn before getting off the ground, or slamming wicked hard. let alone people saying a 270 will solve the problem...

i rely dont care if its ride on or not, i dont think it matters too much anyway. although i perfer a gap cause it looks better and you can do it smoother but if its a ride on to a rainbow rail then i rely dont care.

Yeah I was just at a mountain yesterday that was JUST like that. Honestly, the nicest battleship I've ever seen but impossible to slide.

thats how my mountain is. untill you get into the expert park and im not good enough to do flat down flats that are 4 feet high. i tried a battleship before at my mountain that was a ride up i popped and turn slammed into the up part and got owned

yea my mountain has that problem. Rainbows, roller coasters (from Propaganda), and battleships are just built for snowboarders with no jump on just some snow goin up to it.

talk about it!!!

Yah, I hate rideon battleships and rainbows, they suck balls, Only made for snowboarders. I'm ok with a rideon flat rail or something that goes down first.
