Fucking Marker bindings!

So one of my M12.0 Free's broke last night! The plate that holds the brake bent up so now the brake is all crooked and janky. I don't even know how it happened... I landed off of a box and all of a sudden my ski popped off. When I went to step back in, it looked all jacked. Weak shit.

Anyone else have bad luck with Markers? I've always used Salomon in the past. I think I'm switching back!

yeah, they suck. same thing has happened to my friend twice, the shop gave him new heelpieces first time he broke them and then he broke the current ones!

that same shit happened to one of my buddies. marker would'nt replace it so he had to get new bindings. rossi is prolly the way to go

It seems a lot of people only ever consider salomon and look/rossis. Fischer/Tyrolia make solid bindings, and up to a 17 DIN (fischer x17) have a pivot release heel similar to the old p-series.

And yeah, you should have known better. Markers fucking blow, and have for a while. I reserve judgement on the the new ones next year until I ski them.

This is very true, and although I've never been on them, the 4frnt/vist 412-816 series seem to be pretty solid too.

your ski isnt the onely one, my marker binding got fucked up too. the stoper is all fucked up, and a plastic part is gone. i hate my marker bindings. this is the last time i use marker bindings.

i like 4frnt but i had some markers and they did the same thing i was 360in a cliff and i landed and skied away then i stopped to get something to eat and my brake was all fucked up the guy at my ski shop said i was skiing to dangerously i told him he was a retard

my s810's wing pieces loosen up a little sometimes, but its an easy fix

My markers are pretty solid in my experience. They've held up with pretty much everything I do. I have the Comp14 series with a din up to 14 so its a bit more beefy than the other ones and their only downfall is that theyre kinda on the heavy side. Besides that I trust my markers.
