seriously school is fucking the worst. its worse than the davinci code, the novel by dan brown and the film! (haha mario...)

i went home "sick" today so i could avoid a class and i really just want to never go again. now im grounded cause i have an f in that class so there goes my fun for the week.

lets hear your rant about school cause we all know its horrible
 
i actually love school. i love the power of learning and feeling confident with knowing and understanding things.
just think about how special it is to get education at the level that we do and how much better we all are off compared to many MANY other countries world wide.
you should really try hard to do well in school because it will only work to your advantage and allow you to live a succesful and enjoyable life
 
i hate school too. but i dont let it get me down, i get the work done and move on. because it will pay off later in life, and high school can be kinda fun sometimes too. theres a lot of pressure in grade 12 though, especially for me because the entrance requirements for the schools i want to go to are quite high, and i only have another month to get my marks to where they need to be.

Yeah, school seems boring, but a surprising amount of it really is applicable. I don't know if I would say I love school, but I don't hate it. Try to find something you're interested in to make it more bearable.
 
high sucked dick, but college is dope, even though its community college, its 100x betta than highschool and all the bullshit there
 
Yeh, school sucks. But everyone experiences it just like you. You have to be there, so you might as well get something out of it while you're there. If you have to be in a class for an hour, it's better to sit and listen and hope to pick up something interesting rather than pick your nose and throw paper in the back. And yes, in general, the more engaged you are the more success you will have at whatever you choose to do in the future.
 
you'd get bored pretty quick without school. you'd think that you would hang out every day with friends, smoke, drink, party, stay out late, become almost nocturnal. but think about it, without education, we wouldnt have tv's, computers, or even meth. You think poor countries like africa could invent electronics? no, because most people dont have an education

so basicly what im saying is, shut up, go to school, pass, go to college, make a living and support a family. Be happy that you don't have to live like people in Zimbabwe do, where the inflation is so bad that with 100 us dollars you would be beyond rich there.

obviously there are days when i dont want to go, or im mad about tests, but without school, what would i be? i even get bored in the summers without school, especially when people used to go to camp and what not.

word, calss wasnt bad, but aside from the kids i hung out with, every one else was either popular adn wouldnt talk to you, or was just a douchebag to you for no reason. but in college errybodys chill , even the "popular" kids from HS that now go to college are fun to hang with and for the most part not d bags any more
 
in highschool they wouldnt talk to kids that werent in their group of popular kids so yes most of em were douchers
 
The only main part that i dislike about school would be standardized tests. as much as i dont like waking up early, our failing government is still providing us with a 100 per cent free education that will sat you up for college. Besides that all of your teachers are getting paid shit and butting up with shennaniagans. If you play your cards right, you can actually work around the system, and not always be the kid getting in trouble. And if you are failing, fucking tell your teacher that you need help and hopefully you can get some help instead of going home and making fuck school threads.
But fuck PSATS and NWEAS and all that shit and all the kiddies running around comparing their scores and trying to figure out who is smarter. I personally think that you cannot tell how smart a kid is with a fucking test.

because Dan Brown is a fucking god awful writer, i wanted to burn down a library after reading a chapter of that no good trash.
 
yea dude school sucks i fail pretty much everything... its not that i dont care i just dont do shit idk why i suck pretty much but yeah dude i feel you school blows it hard i think ive missed like 18 days this year.. woopsies
 
I hate to sound like your mom, but here it is: I used to own a bong, be high all day until i slept then the next opportunity i had i'd get high. I realized how much time being baked was consuming, and alas i have smoked 2 times since new years. This is absolutely baffling to my friends. In the end, i've realised that weed really gets off easy on its rep. It made me depressed, lazy, i couldn't retain info or remember where i put my phone down. I'd end up looking for my phone for half an hour a day..

Anywho.. make your own choices that's my experience
 
atleast you get to go to an actual school. i have to do online school, watch how much you ditch or you'll be doing the same shit as me
 
Highschool is awesome, once you get out of it you realize that. Its like a job you try to get fired from every day but never seem to be able to.
 
tell me about it. but since you have to go to school, you might as well put some sort of effort in it. you won't get anything out of it unless you put something in. i'm not talking about the whole asian-top-of-the-class rat race shit, cause that shits ridiculous. but just try and learn something.
 
Well I am not the type to complain about school but here I am i fucking Hate one of my teachers and boy do i want to tell her but hey one problem she is my fucking tutor who I have one on one sessions with each week to see how life is!

How about you stop being a bitch. I'm sitting in Differential Equations at the Air Force Academy right now. The lowest grade you get on any assignment the whole semester becomes your grade in the class. I could get 9 100% and a 70% and get a C- in the class. FUCK THIS!!!!
 
What an idiotic grading scale, thats garbage. Oh and ha! I dont have differential equations for another 2 quarters 8p~
 
that's probably one of the best descriptions of high school i've ever heard. In high school you can fuck up, and usually blame it on some other factor, and they'll give you a tutor, help you out and try to get you back on track.

in college it's pretty much the opposite, if you fuck up, they put you on academic probation, and if you fuck that up, you're out. And after that it gets even worse, at most jobs if you screw up once, you're out.

so i know its not the best it could be, but just try to make the best of it. Later on it'll pay off
 
Yes, we all hate school, but suck it up. Hundreds of thousands of HS students go to class everyday and don't bitch, i think you can handle it. Plus, high school is a great time, you'll look back and miss the careless, responsibility free times you once had. In short, suck it up, you have much harder things coming in your future and with your current mind state, you'll be living at home for your first couple years out of highschool.
 
I fucking hate school, Ive been in a 3 year intensive course (3 semesters a year) with a 36 hours week. To make it worse, Im tested 4 times a week in 8 classes. Now im told I have 2 weekend classes, so Im going to be in school non stop for 3 weeks straight.
 
wow, that is rough, you have a legit reason to complain unless you voluntarily went into it, then i suppose you got yourself stuck in there. why are you in the intensive course?
 
Yea, I don't want to come off as an asshole, but you're being a little bitch. Next thing you know, you'll start complaining about how the world isn't fair and everyone is out to get you. No offense, but shut up.

What makes your experience in school any worse than anyone else in the history of the north american school system? You say you have an A in every class but one, which you have an F in? Seams like it'd be real damn easy to get that F up to a passing grade if you've got an A in everything else.

When I was in highschool, I didn't enjoy the people in my school. My "friends" were so, simply because of convenience. My real friends were out of highschool and hung out at the ski hill all day. I'd skip school to go to the hill and ski/hang out with my friends. On weekends I'd go to ski hill parties instead of high school parties. Caring about high school life and drama was the least of my worries. I still went, I still passed, I still graduated.

Look at it this way - if you don't graduate and have to repeat a year or two, that's just more time stuck in a place you don't like. If you drop out, when you do feel as though you want to further your education or if you want a job that requires a high school education, you're fucked. Don't fuck yourself over... suck it up, and go to class.

Now, all that being said. Don't listen when people say "high school is the best time you will have in life". That's bullshit. When you are out of high school you have a world of possibilities and opportunities. Feel pressured into going into post-secondary but don't want to - don't. be a ski bum, find a job, travel, do what YOU want to do. When you are out of high school, YOU are the one who decides your fate. Take full advantage of that. But you gotta graduate from high school first.
 
i dont love school but i get'er done. science is awesome and i love learning. except i find math very boring. but other than that highschool is usually super fun and i am lucky to be at a school thats small enough for me to know pretty much everyone there and theyre all pretty good people. basically without school its hard to get anywhere in life so you might aswell try hard at it along with all your friends.
