damnit, i just got my december issue in the mail like last week and it was beat to hell. then i just got my november issue today! what the fuck is going on!?

I dont know what you guys are complaining about (contentwise of freeze) because in my opinion, freeze has been on this year, realy good in my opinion. And, i had bad mailing last year, i think because it was my 1st year subscribing, so i havent had any problems this year because ive had a subscription for awhile i guess, maybe?

if u all have such a problem wit subscripion than just don't subscribe!!!!! i just buy mine in the stores, oh no, i am paying more! whatevs quit yo bitchin

 
freeze is pimpin, so is freeskier, powder sux though, they called me and they were like, you've subscribed for a long time and we need reader circulation so we're iving you a free subscription to maxim... and then they sent me a bill for 130 bucks, pretty gay.

 
freeze rocks and is the best ski mag out. i too have heard the horrific stories of subscription and hence only buy it off the stands. come on boys, real ski bums don't have permanent addresses in the first place.

sbc skier is a close second. they spread themselves too thin on each issue and need to micro manage better. quality, not quantity. if they got some polish, they would beat even freeze. they're a canadian publication and many americans wouldn't identify with much of the writing though. i'm canadian though eh and i love it.

freeskier is the cosmo of skiing. nice pictures and good design but contrived writing, needs time to mature and pull it's head out of it's self congratulatory ass. when they finally ran a ski picture on the cover i almost thought they cured themselves (it was actually a really good issue), then they disappointed me with more tawdriness the next issue. powder reminds me of high times. axis is pretty good and has plenty of potential, be interesting to see how it develops.

transworld snowboarding dominates all though. for everything. thrasher and big brother are in a tight race for second though. the writers for big brother are hilairious

 
freeskier has the sickest pictures ive seen this year.. especially in their latest issue.. but this year i havent even really cared about lookin at the mags... just makes me depressed.

 
you guys are right, i left my latest issue of freeze in the bottom of the car, where i put my feet while i am taking off my ski boots, and i got all torn up, what the fuck is going on?

 
how many poeple got the freeze dec and jan issues within a week? hell, i actually got the one before that just a few days before. They have got to get their mag release timing down.

the mags have gotten a bit better, but i think the freezers have sucked ass lately. jon's article is dope.

i want to see more good writing and i think it's time for a good environmental report on skiing. what exactly is our impact? who thinks about it the most, and who needs to do a better job. after all, global warming can't be our friend...

 
Can't say i ever had a problem with freeze not delivering on time and my first year subscription was from New Zealand. Now I've got a 2 year subscription while I'm in Japan and it's been pretty good - except getting my address slightly wrong so the post office people had to figure out what prefecture (like a state) I was in and write my postcode so it could be delivered. Anyway, I like it... and as long as it gets here eventually...

Ok...I live in Lakewood, Ohio, not Colorado or out west, yet I've always gotten every issue of Freeze on time and with really good quality issues. The last four issues have all been really good, especially this new pro interview one. Freeskier in my opinion doesn't compare, and besides Freeze has really stepped it up with their content and features..Freeze is the way to go just call and make sure they send it correctly

they wrap january in a plastic thing so it probably wouldnt be banged up but I got december and then two weeks later(last weekend) january and november came. I have to say they are getting longer but their grammar still sucks. The interviews in the January issuse had a lot of potential but they kind of blew them.

 
Yeah, I got two issues this year brought them to school in my back pack and by 2nd hour it all torn and shit. that pisses me off but it's a good mag.
