I'm glad I ski at a small mountain full of passionate snowriders who wouldn't steal other peoples' stuff rather not dicks with rich parents who ski so they can get new jackets every year.
Yesterday, the first day of the season, I dropped my goggles somewhere between my car and the locker room and didn't realize until around 5 minutes later when I went to put them on.
I checked all over and couldn't find them so I went to the front desk and ask if anyone had turned them in an, sure enough they did.
I know how you feel though, man. When my brother went skiing with his school a long time ago, he and his friend were putting their skis in our locker, they dropped the lock, and somehow the lock broke. They went to the lodge to see if they could temporarily get a new one but the lodge had none or wouldn't give them one so they had to leave the locker with just the lock hanging on the door.
Anyway, I had an $80 artic cat shovel (only shovels left in town, super sick lime green colour) that was in the locker and when I went up skiing the next morning it was gone. I was so pissed because I spent all my money on it. I was just lucky that a guy who worked for my dad had one he sold my dad for cheap and my dad gave it to me. That lime green shovel was sooo nice though.
