so today my ipod broke on me. I have had it since last december and today it just stopped playin music and when i rebooted it, it wouldnt turn back on. has this happened to anyone else? if so what did u do about it? i dont know if i got the warranty but i bought it at best buy so would they fix it?

yeah its not the battery, it will only turn on sometimes but it freezes up

Just got mine warranteed for that and many other issues. I went to the apple page and looked under the warantee info, they SUCK at customer service. The new ipod is being sent to me after 4 weeks of them being douchebags.

Money's clean cause we scrub it good. With guns and gasoline we're gonna save the world. Nothing's obscene if we only close our eyes, boys and girls, welcome to this Joyride. -dmb

i just brought mine into the apple store and they handed me another one. I was in there for less than 10 minutes. FYI I didnt buy it at the apple store.

Are you buying an all east college pass? It'd help me out if you bought it at attitash.com/parker. It's the same price as the normal site and will accomplish the exact same thing, but you'd be helping out a fellow newschooler. thanks
 
i've gone through 4 of them, but the apple service plan always sends a new one! dont buy an ipod they are shit, but you almost have to buy an ipod because there are so many accessories for them... if you get an ipod get the best warantee possible.

 
I'm on ipod #3 since February. The first time it was left outside for 3 weeks until someone found it. I sent it to apple and tehy sent me a brand new one. 2nd time i dropped it in water by accident w hen i was all fucked up. apple sent me a new one. Apple support is so sick. Hopefully I don't need to use the support anymore, but if I do, they'll probably just send me a new ipod again.

i dont have an ipod, but most of my friends do and i can't think of one that hasn't had problems with them. i want one but if they're all breaking, maybe i really dont wanna spend the money on these things.

i found an old generation in the snow and it worked for a whole season at windells, then a season in Tahoe and now its finally suck ass casue of battery time - but i jsut ordered up the nano

 
fuck, ive had mine since christmas last year...never once had a problem that a simple resrtart couldnt fix. you guys just to be a little more careful and stop being so negligent of it. who leave 300$ outside on the deck for 3 weeks? who drops 300$ in a fucking pool? christ, you kids need to understand that your mommys money isnt growing from tree's...
