And I definitly agree ^^ that he shouldn't leave the site just for expressing his opinion. He just should be less hostile and more reasonable about what he says, or what everyone says for that matter.

yeah man, why do you gotta hate? sure theres a bunch of asshole ski racers but theres also asshole jibbers, where ever you go ur gunna run into some cocky jerks, dont judge ski racing just because there are a couple super serious cocky asshole racers. The best skier is a well-rounded skier.. notice all the pros on top either started out racing or doing moguls. skiing is skiing, learn to love it

I think its cute that the little twelve year olds who insult people by calling them 'gay' a lot thought they were being all tough and then when they didn't get the support the mellowed out. Haha, real funny. Does being able to do an inverted trick make you a better skier than a racer? Hardly. I have some friends that race and they fucking rip. Oh, and 3 of them can do better inverts than myself.

Also, don't parade around with your 'racing is gay shit' because it does make a lot of people better skiers. Don't insult other people that use it 'as an excuse to get on the mountain.' As long as it gets them there, great for them. Dedication. Sorry if you are a tough little twelve year old who tells mommy when you wanna go skiing.

Yup, I'd love to see some of these jibbers that can't ski worth a crap (but kill it in the park) actually ski a big line, huck their meat off a clif, then keep skiing. Ever seen most jibbers ski pow? Hilarious.

i never really hated racers until this year, i used to be one back in junoir high, but the other day i was skiing outta the park and they were having some picture done and I HAD TO ski behind them to get out and then when i went by they were just like 'get outta the way retard' and iam just like what the fuck where am i supposed to go, i just hate how they think they own the hill becuase their parents pay tons of money for someone to organize their skiing

'The Ski Out Terrain Park is definitely the most happenin' Park around. Said to be, 'the most progressive Terrain Park' in New Brunswick. It's packed with everything from huge hits to 'new school' railslides!'

 
Skiing is skiing, as long as your having fun it's all good. Park rides can piss you off to cuting you off for jumps and shit

yeah some racers are stuck up and shit but so are some freestylers. racing, moguls etc makes you such a better skier, i ski instruct and people think thats gay, but its improved my skiing so much and i ahve fun doin it and thats what skiings about, so if they're racing or whatever, let them do it. who cares if they cant do stuff in the park, not every skier has to be good in the park, they race, they're not jibbers.

 
Skiercross racers are some of the strongest all around skiers in the game. People who hate racers simply because they are racers are pretty ignorant.

I raced last year for the first time. It was high school racing and everyone took it really seriously. It left me with a so/so impression of racing. I had fun, but there was too much time dedicated solely to it. On the other hand, my technique improved x5 because I am a dumbass and never had taken a lesson.

This year I decided to gamble and join my college ski team. Best decision ever. The entire league is so chill. Racing in Southern California is awesome. Nobody takes it seriously - not one person wears a suit. When we have slalom races sunday morning only about half - 1/3 of the crowd from the previous day's GS race shows up because the league has a huge party in Mammoth every saturday night and everyone ends up wasted.

There are only a couple gripes I have with racing: Runs being blocked off across entire mountains, Those suits, and people who are way too serious and don't do anything else. There was a girl on my team last year, the best racer on the team and she had never skied powder before - only groomers.

yeh man racers can be real dicks, but then again lots can be really cool..i don relly care...i just wanted to say, im a park rat...but i can ACTUALLY ski...ive never raced in my life but i can do gates adn i can ski deep pow and all that shit. just saying, not all park-rats cant ski
