So today in my wilderness medicine class some homies where saying that my local Mountain Mt Hood Meadows where getting rid of their unlimited pass for the 18/19 season and beyond (as of now). I hadn't heard of this and albiet kinda concerned I looked on third website and found the article. Now the thing is this "blog post" was made on April first but the responses to comments made on that post are much more recent.

So what do you guys think is this real or not and if it is are they really fuckers?

what the fuck is wilderness medicine class? I'd be down for it if they taught me to grow weed tho

I was super pissed about this as well, but it turns out they raised the price by twenty bucks or something. They got rid of the unlimited pass and offered one that is only good for weekdays for 100 bucks cheaper. Then they added an extended pass that is good for all dates for 120 more than the weekday only pass. So they still have an unlimited pass it's just 400 dollars now, and it's called something else.

Check it out yo, I’m also at meadows. Idk of this is why, but they are building a new parking lot and a new lodge/expanded lodge and also opening “new terrain” (maybe grooming some extra shit idk)...so they are prob tryna pay for those expansions with price raises.

They need to raise prices of day passes anyway to keep the lift lines from getting long...and keep season pass holder prices the same.

Have you never heard of first aid + cpr classes? Wilderness medicine, is basically just a longer more advanced version designed for people who spend a lot of time outdoors. It's a good idea to take one especially if you're into moderately dangerous sports like skiing and mountain biking. Could save your life or someone elses

I was envisioning more of a "this plant cures diarrhea" type thing but what you said makes a lot more sense
