Fucked up pole

i was riding the ridge last week and there was some skiers ahead of me and one guy had this fucked up pole it was bent in an almost 90 degree angle and missing a basket, was that anyone from here?

heh heh. my roommate has snapped two pairs already this season, and his third pair looks like a pair of racing poles! kinks everywhere

If I don't remember it, I didn't do it.
 
i snapped some bamboo poles earlier on this season. it felt so funny to ski because you would go to pole plant and there woudl be nothin there
