Fucked up body?

most skiers will probaly get fucked knees, but is any one eles anckles, backs, hips ect fucked without ever injuring them?, just wondering coz i spend alot of time on dryslope which is shit loads worse for u coz there always badly built and its reely repetitive and ive got reely stiff hips even though i always strech them and my ankels are magorly fucked i cant walk two steps without them crunching or cracking. anyone eles get the same?. lol sorry for the reely depressing/moany thread.

my back gets soooooo fucked every season

i jsut endure adn then when the snow's gone i just sit at home for like 3 weeks

I usually fuck by back and ankles once a ski season. I don't hurt my ankles skiing, I hurt them jumping off shit into piles of snow.

um yeah..... when i set for more than an hour my back gets so stiff, its redic

and my knees used to be really bad but i worked through it.. but my one knee every time i bend it i can feel a little pop type felling and that gets really bad after setting in the car

my knees seem to be pretty much fine but i get stingers in them every now and then...mostly my back because the shit snow we have out here means you take a lot of hits landing switch and then catching an edge in slush/ice

so yeah, my back and my head (from getting whapped on the deck a bunch of times)

i also have had reconstructive surgery on my shoulder because ive dislocated it a couple hundred times. it started as a surfing/skim-boarding accident (busted it twice in one day over the summer my senior year in HS) and since then ive popped it out doing pretty much everything you can think of, even when im driving and sleeping.

it's been 3 years since then and i got it fixed once, but i popped it out again on a really bootleg fall jib setup...i was sooooooo pissed about it because rehab took forever after my surgery. we constructed the drop-in and box line in the backyard of this college apartment and there was a party going on so a lot of people were hanging out and watching. everybody was cool and had tons of respect for us even trying to hit this particular setup, so i got tons of free drinks that night from people who saw me eat shit.

when you dont exercise regularly you get really really sore your first few times going out. and yes stress on joints like skiing is never good.

my feet are flat, my knees are shot, my hips are a little messed, and my neck hurts all the time cause i hurt it on a trampoline and it wont ever go away. i stretch it constantly and now theres a knotted up ball of muscle sticking out that hurts. i cant go up stairs without pain in my knees cause theres so much shit floating around in there. oh and i broke my wrist this summer and it took 5 months to heal, i broke my hand one bone in 3 places, and broke my hand a separate time. yes were all fucked up.

haha my ankles ALWAYS crack, even if i like move my foot around in a circle......but most of the time it doesnt hurt at all

but my shins and knees are kinda bad, my shins hurt when i like jump off anything higher than like 5 feet

both my ankles creak and crack with every step!!! it really annoying actually...not painful, just annoying.

i tore a lig in one ankle when i used to play football. i dont know how the other one got all messed up!!!

i hurt my heel skateboarding like 3 months ago, it sucks. My back hurts from jumping on the trampoline and freestyle walking all the time, but nothing on snow, because snow is only like 4 months a year. i dont no about my knees tho, do you think jumping on the trampoline builds knee and back strenght?

well probably everyone here skiing had some knee, back, ankle problem. alot of skier need to have their knee rebuilt at age like 20-25 which is completely crazy. it suck but when you really love the sport, it hard to stop.

exactly the same with me, every time i walk my right ankle has to crack atleast 100 times or more a day

my grandpa did like water skiing of those big wooden ramps and stuff and you land on flat all the time so by the time he was 50 something he had back problems.

my back has hurt every second of my life for the last 2 years. I do stretches and everything else, my back is permanently fucked from skiing and it sucks alot.

nothing ever gives me any trouble.   and it's not like i'm pussying out on much.  maybe i'm just lucky...

my feet get fucked from toe bang but finally i got new boots and they made the best differance and my feet dont even hurt anymore

i normally just have sore muscles after skiing, nothing that mad, but royally fucked up my ankle skateboarding, when ever i jump over a foot and land my foot goes all pins and needles shit its kinda cool feeling, but its my entire foot which scares me

my left ankle cracks when i walk....but its not from skiing, tho skiing makes it worse...esp when it has to crack and cant in my boots, thats a really weird feeling. apparently i broke my ankle when i was younger and dindt know it and never got it fixed properly. go see an orthopedic and see they can tell you anything....mine told me there was nothing i could do, but maybe they will tell you something diff.

WayBackMachine u fucking rock ahahaha. My hips and ankles crack but u all have got to do some YOGA, it is the fukin best thing to do, I couldnt crouch on my knees before either but now all the way and now its almost imposible to get injured and nothing hurts, my back got straighten up like miracle with it. Besides u improve like 30% your skiing and mostly any sport u do, u gain control of your body, equilibrium and flexibility, and lots of energy, and sex performance.....

I think this had turned into a contest to see who will have the most uncomfortable future. So far I'm losing with only one blown knee.

My knees are the main problem, my back sometimes get strained from sports like rugby. My right ankle's been weird after landing a bit funny off a cliff last year, like, if I push both shins forward (or pull both feet back), the right ankle joint will start hurting.

But otherwise, I'm still pretty happy.

I usually get a sore back and sore heels if I overshoot or knuckle or overshoot alot, but for the most part I only really get a sore back and bad shinbang

def mad back pain. thumbs are also hurting(or broken), major pain in my heels, hips hurt a lot, and my shoulders. actually, everything hurts cause I broke it before.

PATELLA SUCKS!!!! That probably gives me more pain than anything is where the patella hits the knee cap. It's been three years since i got my surgery n my patella still hurts like fuck sometimes!

my ankles are always cracking, sometimes get a pain in my lower back, my knees are usually day to day, right shoulder pops out at will, all normal shit

Staying as fit as you can can really help to toughen yourself against injury. Building up muscles and ligaments around the knees, hips and back helps.

When Im unfit I cant walk the days after first time back in the park for ages.

i would say that everything from the knees down hurt the day after but as for long term stuff, not much except for a heel injury (kinda wussy, i know) that lasted like a month when i undershot a jump
