Imo this is conspiracy orchestrated by noaa to clear up the congested lift lines at stevens and alpental. and besides, last year around this same time, a little bit of snow was flying, and everybody in regionals was jizzing their pants cuz crystal opened. well guess what, it was the worst winter since johnny mosley mad trix. don't pawn your gear for drug money just yet the pnw can't be predicted!

I had a couple of the deepest days of my life last year, still didn't feel like it was justice for several months of nil.

loup loup is alright, badger mountain has the best prices tho
 
He wrote another blog post on this a week or so ago. The SST anomaly may not even reach the +0.5C threshold required for it to be considered an El Nino event. It'll be weak at worst. So, basically, anything can happen.
