one of my good friends got caught saying fuck today in school. In our school district no matter how you use the word fuck it is an automatic three days of out of school susspension. Is it me or is that way to harsh and what are penalties for swearing at your school?
 
out of school suspensions are not punishments. it's a holiday that you earn for doing things you shouldn't do.

ive never got caught swearing although it has gotten close a few times, but the penalties are way less severe. i guess it would be like a trip to the principal's office or something minor like that..
 
yeah dude thats way to harsh, i dont swear alot in school but i slip every once and a while and ive never been really punished for it
 
Never heard any teacher in my school saying anything about swearing. And I swear quite a bit even in front of the teachers.
 
thats way too harsh... in my old highschool, if we swore in class, or anywhere inside of the school we would just be told not to swear, or the teacher would just ignore it altogether
 
i said niggerfaggot infront of a teacher once. i was quoting the derick comidy skit, and got in 0 troubles
 
thats way harsh... the only way u could get introuble in my school by using curse words is if they are directed at a teacher or something..and it wouldnt be suspension
 
jebus those are pretty drastic measures, i said fuck in math today after getting an answer wrong and my teacher didn't say anything
 
In School Suspension is a real punishment, those blow asshole. I had a few of those, sitting in one room, being completely silent, for six hours...? You only have so much homework in high school. Even more boring than work.
 
half my teachers have said fuck or ahh shit in front of the class. And in any one on one conversation it seems like they try to swear. The only time I see people get in trouble is when they bring up racism. But classifying yourself as "brown" is a-ok.. but that can only leave a brown kids mouth.
 
My 65 year old Latin teacher once told me "You have the worst fucking attitude I've ever seen". Clearly some schools are taking foul language a bit too seriously.
 
at my school, we don't get susspension for that. The only way to be kicked out of the school with that word is to say fuck you to the teacher. I know it.

kids swear allll the time at my school, in the halls teachers wont say anythign to you to stop, but in the classroom its a different story.

but yea u can be in the lobbys, halls, library and u can swear, many people can hear you and nothing happens.

and my schools tight ass too. creepin kids facebooks to get them in trouble.
 
yea thats soo harsh, i go to a small private school, which you would expect to be really strict, and they dont really care what we say. today in bio we were doing a lab and i realized we made a mistake and i said FUCK! with my teacher standing right there and in an effort to correct myself i said shit! and after that was when i said crap, which i meant to say in the first place. she never said anything about it
 
In my school it depends on the teacher. For example my math teacher will say "I better not hear that word again." But my shop teacher will say "Watch your fucking language." and swears all the time.
 
wow thats really harsh. at my school if you say fuck in frot of a teacher then they just glare at you, if you say it to a teacher thats a different story. but one time in 8th grade my teacher said fuck in front of the class. it was actually really funny.
 
its not that exciting but she was reading a book to our class and there was a racist joke so she skipped it. the book didnt really make any sense without it so she was told us it was a really fucked up joke. then she said she was thinking fucked up joke but meant to say messed up joke. see not that exciting haha.
 
ouch that rule fuckn sucks :P yesterday my physics teacher called a bunch of the girls sluts and whors.. he was just jokin but our school doesnt really care. some teachers give a dirty look like just tell you not to swear or w.e but definetly not suspension.
 
so today in health we were having a class lecture about road rage and all that.... well i said aloud jokingly that i keep a base ball bat in my car (which is true) and she (the teacher) asked if ive ever used it and i was like "only once, the lady cut me off, she is in the ditch now" well she blew up and told us all a story about some guy who got 3 years for something like that, she was so worked up she almost sent me to the office!!!! haha..... after she was done chewing the class out i told i was joking and she got real quite and told me to get out of class..... lol
 
thats messed up one of my teachers curses to us if he gets mad or something and we cures around him all the time and no one in my school does...u must be in like middle school or elemetary school or soemthing cause idk anyone who has that problem
 
last year some kid told my math teacher to fuck off. cussing at teachers on school property is illegal so my teacher call the school ro and the kid got a 500 dollar fine and got kicked out of the class.
 
in english when we read aloud, theres pretty much always a swear. not like damn or hell but stuff like motherfucker. its pretty great cause our teacher reads them too if nobody else in the class volunteers.

just yesterday we had to read a short story called "the artificial nigger"

Are you in the United States? We have a thing called the first amendment. He can say fuck all the fuck he wants, if for no other reason he should use the word as a defense against tyranny
 
true, but unfortunately these rights don't always fully apply in school. Like you can't really carry a weapon in school. I do agree that the punishment is bullshit though
 
whatever highschools a joke. you can miss a whole week of school in highschool and not be fucked. you miss a day of school in university and you get fucked over.
 
Wow that sucks! I often say fuck and my teachers never tell me not to say it accept my french teacher(cause im a french Canadian) but ya the school does not care accept if you say it directly to them.
 
while i dont think it should be allowed, just because of common decency and all, the punishments are sometimes too severe.

in grade 6 i said hell in music class, and the stupid ass teacher made me call my mom right there and tell her what i said, when i put him back on the phone, she yelled at him for bothering her with something so trivial while she was at work.

and like 2 weeks ago my buddy got pulled over on his skateboard by a female cop riding this motorized scooter thing, like a segway kind of, and i yelled "haha you got pulled over by a bitch cop", not realizing another cop was 10 feet away from me. that took some smooth talking and a very lucky name to get out of.
 
this one kid at my school was doing the announcements and he like read the wrong thing or something and he was just like AWWW SHIT! in front of the whole school it was pretty funny but i dont really think anyone cared idk what happened to him.
