I have no idea what to do, im so fucked i cant even begin to explain it. I got my 3rd speeding ticket today over a span of about 6 months. The thing is my car starts to shake when i go anywhere between 60-80 mph, so I was seeing if it still shakes at 80+, turns out it doesnt, but there was also a fucking state trooper on the other side of the hill. I got a 84 in a 55, i am fucked. I can't decide if I should try and get a lawyer or sell my car and pay it off, im really freaking out right now

your mad, i got a ticket for not wearing my seatbelt. I hated the cop too, he is a fuckbag, He sits around on his fat ass looking for dumb things to pull people of for. I hate him i want to slash the tires on his Tahoe
 
aight bro i'm gonna help you out here. my mom works for the police and told the down low on speeding tickets. most cops wont actually clock you with the speed gun and will often pull you over if they think you are speeding. now as long as you play dumb and dont admit to speeding then they cant give you a ticket. the key is to play dumb and hope he didnt clock you. the second piece of advice I have for you is that most officers wont even show up to their court date because they will assume you will pay. if they dont show up to the court day then you dotn have to pay the ticket. :) hope i helped a bit so u can avoid ure next one. also if someone coming in the opposite direction to you flashes their headlights that means their is a speed trap ahead and you should slow down.
 
yeah i got two under the age of 18 so my license got taken away for 6 months. turns out my mom knew people in the system and i could have gotten out of it. but i thought i would be smart and not tell my parents
 
thanks for some actual advice. problem is he knew i was speeding. And how am I supposed to know if he doesnt show up at the court poke my head in and leave? If i just don't show up and don't pay the fine then won't there be a warrant out for my arrest? I don't think I have it in me to just bail on my court day and not tell my parents anything.
 
get a job and pay it off mang, it wont cost too much, kick your parents down some money for insurance too cause it will prob go up. He will def show up for court. Just dont get anymore tickets.

Im guessing your fine will prob be like $200-300+? Thats not worth selling your car, you can tell them you cant afford it and make payments to them, they cant just demand you pay all of it right away.

Unless you have a relative that is a lawyer and willing to help you, just buck up and pay them. Go to the judges room previously to when you have to see him/her and see how she punished people, get an idea for how you might be able to lessen your fine.
 
theres a new lame by-law i guess put in place in ontario canada tht if they cop doesn't show up u don't get off your ur ticket anymore. Now they just reschedule the court date so you can't get off those speeding tickets anymore for cops not showing up but if u take it to court 95% of the time the ticket will go down
 
aight i'm gonna help a homie out. here tha deal, if you under 18 plead not guilty at ya first court aperance. if dey expect you to pay thru tha mail jus plead not guilty thru tha mail. when you get ya court date dont go to tha first one because it most likely that tha cop will go to tha first one. postpone tha court date 1 or 2 times or even 3 and den go into court. most likely tha muthafuckin cop wont be there and you get off wid nothin.

I feel you, on my way to Mammoth I got my third speeding ticket in a 4 month span. I was extremely pissed off because it was late and I saw the spd limit sign saying 35mph, so I think I'm golden and I'm doing 35-40, then a cop pulls me over, and I forgot to put the registration sticker on my car so I'm like, oh, I'm really sorry officer, the registration sticker is in my glove box, I'll put it on right now, and he gives me a strange look and asks me why I was driving so fast. I was like, what? And he says I was doing double the speed limit, and I was like, hell no I was not going 60 mph through town, and he says, "the speed limit through town is 25mph." I feel like an idiot because apparently for three blocks or something retarded like that through Bishop it is. So I'm just going to show up on the court date and hope the cop isn't there, and if so, shell out another $200. Your best bet, go to court, see if you can get it lowered, or see if you can pay it off in payments.
 
If anyone ever fights in court on their own it might do good to research "beating speeding tickets" a little. There have been many people recently publishing minor law details that have to do with getting out of tickets by beating them in court. I don't know all the details obviously, but mostly what i found would be worth a shot for my next ticket. Never plead guilty and just pay it, represent yourself whats the worst that could happen. They can't fine you extra for losing in court, and you pay court costs even if you plead guilty and just pay it so ya might as well go.
