To the leaders of this site:

In your infinite wisdom you have decided to post a survey on one of the most ridiculous arguments imaginable, doing nothing more than dividing our sport and causing hate. All for what? I would imagine to satisfy the egos of the immature fuckbags who dominate this sites population. The fact that you would even dignify a response to such a controversy and go as far as deleting those who opose your omnipitance is enough to show me just how far your dark hand of censorship is willing to reach.

If i wasnt already unsatisfied with the direction and leadership of this site (which i am) i deffinetly would be by now.

Somehow, with your current record, i dont believe this thread will last long, but either way i will still ask of you to delete my account, rather than this thread, if your decision is to silence me like you have so many others

Hey, this issue's been covered, don't worry, you can step off your pedestal now, there's already been a few threads where we've all agreed on a general concensus that some people like them, some don't. And really, that poll doesn't "divide" the site at all. You're crazy if you think something like that will dictate how people interact with one another.

i halfway agree with pocket-rocketeer. if that is his interpretation of the poll (dividing members of ns and making them argue with each other), then there are probably other people on the site whose interpretation is the exact same. there are others that just think it is a funny joke, and others still that think it is legitimate.

i personally feel that it is comparing two uncomparable things (although i don't think that was the original intention).

and in no way is he on a pedestal. the self-righteous people on here are the ones that take their responsibilities and priveleges as making them better than the rest of us.

i think the responses could have been a little different, but why a "fuck you" thread? it's a question on a website? who the fuck cares? do you think this will have a far reaching effect on the entire skiing population? if you answered yes to that question, go play in traffic.
 
its over poles. dividing our sport? i laugh at you. if someone can throw down without poles, they deserve props just as someone with poles. christ.
