k so the past couple weeks ive gotten hooked on playing the lotto. a bunch of ppl at work do so i figured wtf ill buy a ticket. then i got hooked. i already played three days this week on pick 3. then today i didnt play cuz i was feeling like white trash. so guess what happens. the number ive been playing all week comes in. it didnt come in straight so i'd have only won $41 but that still woulda put me back in positive money. FUCK YOU OHIO LOTTERY
 
my roommate buys $25 of powerball tickets a week if the jackpot is over 100 million. hahah. one day i laughed as he blew $50 in scratch offs.
 
my math teacher did the odds with me, and if you were to fill the sky dome(50,000+ people) full, for 2 and a half years, and pick one person out of all those people, thats your chance at winning the lottery. Im not trying to hate but realistically its not a wise economical decision, just like buy a pack of smokes a day.....really does not benefit you(actually slowly kills you) and waste a good chuck of the money you earn in life.......to conclude, yes you always have a chance at winning the jackpot but, just like everyone else (minus 1 person) you dont get the jackpot> But hey its your money right
 
just to clear things up im not playing for the big jackpot. im playing pick 3 which you actually do stand a chance of winning. in fact i woulda won $40 if i had played thursday. but i lost again today
 
.. You... need... to... learn... math. Big jackpot or pick 3, it's irrelevant, you're still going to get fucked over.

You probably think casinos are a great place to make money too right?
 
Thats what i was going to say. You have a better chance of dieing on the way to buy a lottery ticket than you do of winning off one. Its a poor life decision.
 
the doorman in my grandparents building won the lottery, i was there when he found out and it was madness, he gets 5000 bucks a week for a lifetime
 
I believe its actually a tax on the stupid. There are plenty of people who are fine at math who are still stupid enough to play the lotto.
 
i've bought scratch tickets maybe 10 times in my life...i've won bout $200 i only play if i feel like imma win

my boss plays it everyday. hes obsessed. he sold his computer company in the 90s and lost most of his money(like a million) on the lottery and horse races. everyday he tries to get "good numbers" to win cash3 and all that stuff. the lottery is a huge waste of money. In the 2 summers i've worked with him, i've never seen him win.

The only time I ever did see anyone win was when everyone at the school i work at put in a dollar towards mega millions and they got like 75 tickets and they missed one ball and everyone got like $1,000 or something like that, its might have been 100.

One of their friends also bought a roll of scratch offs for 250 and made 140 off it. sweet profit there dude.
 
Yea i though about playing my birthday for the daily three (115) for a while but didn't, then like a month later i saw the number hit twice within three weeks. I was kicking myself for not playing the numbers but then I found out that i would have only won 500 bucks a time, so i wasn't that mad...still would have been nice to get the cash though
 
my friend used to do scratch cards while taking shits and he won 5000 off one of them and bought a sick trampoline
 
^^claimer...nobody in there right mind would lose a 5 mill lotto tick...i mean i'd keep it in a friggin safe until i collected

Maybe she bought the ticket, lost it, then realized she had won, that would blow.
 
yeah thats how it went down.

my g-ma is sooo fuckin disorganized, holy shit, she lost the key to her safe deposit box, with her house title and shit, lost her taxes and then didnt pay them...

i could go on forever
 
haha not really, he ended breaking his arm really bad on the tramp, i guess it's bad karma i dunno why though
