FUCK YES blackhawks

So, with about 3 minutes left in a game

we're leading 1-0, Willie Mitchell decides he plays for Chicago now. He

gives the puck away, then puts his stick out to re-direct Havlat's shot

into our net for a 1-1 tie. He then gives the puck away again to

Bolland, who gets a breakaway and almost wins the game. Awesome. Then, in OT, he's standing in front of the net right next to Ladd and does nothing as Ladd tips in the winner. Fucking Mitchell.

I wouldn't be too upset with a 2-2 tie, that's a 3 game series in which

we get home ice advantage... but come on, you can really put some

pressure on and you give up a chance like that. I'm not impressed. BOTH Chicago wins were in games they should have lost; this one, and the other that we were up 2-0 in the 2nd period and just ate it. If we lose this series it's our own damn fault.

 
Couldn't agree more. Mitchell really fucked up, but as well as the team for trying to defend a one goal lead against Chicago, who have come from behind how many times this series now? Jesus Christ
 
Yeah that was dumb. The Canucks were dominating but were only up 1-0 though... Something easily taken away. Unfortunate.

being from chicago and being a wings fan i know that i will hear it from my friends tomorrow about how amazing they are... i just hope the wings dont choke vs. anaheim

as a long time hawks fan, it is so good to see them over recent seasons improving, making the playoffs, and actually doing something there.

now if only they still played in the old chicago stadium... i used to go every year for my birthday, front row first balcony. that was the coolest, loudest place to see a hockey game
 
fuck yeah chicago! we got the comeback kids coming back once again! i got a good feeling chicago is going to take the series with the momentum from last nights win. GO HAWKS!!!!!!!

I really don't know who will take the series... The Canucks seemed in control for the game, despite the shots in Chicago's favour. But they still lost... I look forward to the next couple games.
 
Really the series should've been a sweep, given that we should have won both games we lost. I think whoever wins game 5 is 90% likely to win the series.
 
this is true, and i have a feelng that the hawks will carry their momentum from last night to canada and take that game.
 
there is no way the hawks got outplayed. the canucks only got 14 shots all game and there best chances other than the goal came in OT. fuck the canucks even if they do move on to the western final detroit will steamroll those bitches.

seriously though, as much as i love the hawks, they have already exceeded my expectations for their playoff run this year, anything else is just icing on the cake. delicious playoff winning icing.

this series is ripping me/my family in half. vancouver is my team but my grandfather played for the blackhawks so i have a hard time consciously rooting against them. i would much prefer this series to be in the conference finals
 
Well wasn't that nice. I'm starting to think that for the canucks to win they need to score like 4 goals in the first 2 periods because of how much they suck in the 3rd.
You chicago fans totally called it. Damn.
 
that game was awesome. no one say the hawks got out played or worked. cause they straight up won that game, now i hope we face the wings.

I'm fucking pissed! How can our supposedly most dependable players repeatedly let us down like that. Mitchell let Kane free so he could tie it, too. It would've been one thing if they'd deserved to lose, but they didn't deserve to lose that game, most of the team played extraordinarily well. Seven goals. My God.
 
i'd say it goes havlat, toews, and then kane for the order of best players on the hawks. he owed that to the team for being -4 going into that game.
