Fuck whistler!!

Yeah I heard about that too, not too stressed tho because at this time of the year last year it was the same and then on boxing day it puked and it did for 2 weeks straight.. Including a 75cms dump in 24hrs. If theres no snow were gonna hit handrails and get drunk cuz you knwo Neslon is the best city for handrails in the world :P

Yes they have indeed, but here is the difference, your mountain counts every inch from the time it starts snowing tell it stops, and it melts a good amount at certain periods, all in all with a 12-48 inch base, its really hard to say that alot of that has stayed around

have you ever skiied whistler? obviously not on a good day because Ive skiied Alta and I can testify that whistler is way better

ha, i doubt that, the snow is drier out in the colorado and utah, whistler may be sick, but colorado, and utah both have all around better snow

ya but vt sucks. i wanna move to utah, whistler is a nice mtn just really shit snow, its all wet snow at minus 4.

i know not all of the east coast has been at snowbird this week, but with all the shit talking you guys do i figured ya'll would be better skiers.... i have seen way to many thugged out 14 year olds on public enemies! GO HOME.

yea im just saying that its the east revenge for all thsoe times u kids went on ur rants about how the east sucks and u get all the pow.

"Hey, there's alot of shit going on in the world right now, and that's because Mother Nature is fucking pissed. You know why Mother Nature is fucking pissed? It's because she wants to get impregnated with good sperm[good people doing good things], so good things come out of her. But instead of giving her a good shag, we're fist fucking her in the eye sockets, and fucking her earlobes. No wonder she's pissed."

i just got home from whistler for 7 days..............it is fuckin ridiculous up there. you prettty much have to download to the base. on blackcomb some of the main groomers dont even have patches of snow. it loooks like the hood area during the rainy season..... fuck.

uh... a progressive local metal band... as a segway to their song called "God God We're outta tampons"... it was pretty goddamn funny....

dude i just saw all the mountains from denver to aspen. it was cool, but those mountains are shitty rollers with unstable snowpacks compared to whistler

Whistler is pretty much a hit or miss if you want to vacation here, but if you live here, i am happy to sit through a week of rain for the rest of the year, i skiied yesterday, in the little break between the rain and it was epic.

another? i spent last season in colorado and it sucked! yea great this year, but shitty last year. Now im moving to tahoe and looks whats happening there

you got alta, snowbird, brighton, solitude for powder with over 500 inchs a year. PArk city for parks and pretty damn good ones at that

yo i stopped reading the rest of the posts, i don't know if you are all still talking about america polluting the world, all i know is that the U.S. takes up 7% of the worlds population, and uses something like 30% of the worlds energy, maybe that has something to do with it....

im not 100% sure on the % of energy that we use, but its close to that number

^^^Not a good thing to bring up in any thread that is not entirely about pollution, all that causes is hissy fits.

yeah well i come from australia and i fornicate with kangaroos or well at least thast the only insult little 13 yr ol quebeces can come up with

whistler is so fuckin overhyped, that place should be bombed, if u enjoy skiing rocks and grass, dodging foreigners in their throwback descente jumpsuits who have no idea how to ski, skiing on a 10 foot wide bumpy slush path back to the village, then whistler is the place to be. and oh yea i forgot to add u have to sign a waver to use the big terrain park and the 6 inches of wet ass pow they get at the top should be there for about 3 minutes before it gets skied out....and the lift lines can be almost an hour long and thats no exxageration. and just when u think u found a pow stash, it disappaers to bumpy ice. Im sorry i must of forgot the end of december still constitutes"early season conditions" fuck that. and I don't even care if this place gets dumped on cuz it will still suck with all the coverage in the world, with lines and people like that...lol and ive never before been asked to put my lift ticket on my jacket in front of a liftie before i get on the tram

you know utah is getting hammered, but im going to say it.

obviously the snow levels are rising, i mean shit i have had ONE good snow at my house. even half way up the canyon most of the time this year it has been raining, i even remember gad-zoom getting rain at the bottom. snowbird and alta have raelly dodged the bullet this season because every storm has been snow this year. but my friends, it seems to be creeping higher and higher.

have you ever skiied whistler? obviously not on a good day because Ive skiied Alta and I can testify that whistler is way better

andrewt im sorry but that was uncalled for

global warming is a load of shit...no one here is a meteorologist and no1 has the statistics for evidence to proove there point everyone just claims shit uneducatedly. weather patterns have been goin on since the begining of time and just because they may seem a little wack and u may be gettin not as much snow for a couple years out of ur life doesnt proove global warming...and the thing is every1 that claims global warming pollutes just as much as the next person dont try and deny it ...ur cars proly guzzle the most gas of neones...and how can u say alta/snowbird has "dodged the bullet"? i guess wyoming and colorado has as well....ur observations of the freezing level as u drive up the canyon based on what uve seen in the past doesnt mean shit, you should realize you have been around for a trillinionth of a fraction of how long this earth has been around

ok well i had a rad day at whistler yesterday. they are finally getting some decent snow. powders super light. and today would probably have been even better if i had been able to find a ride up.

Duh have u seen how much the Arctic ice has receded over the past couple of decades

The Polar Bears enviroment is quickly disappearing

that means we are in a warming trend

Whistler is in a fragile zone a couple of degrees is all it takes for them to end up snowless in maybe a decade
