'Fuck warped tour, man' is what Ken Casey, bass player for the Dropkick Murphys, said when I asked why they arent playing it this year. He said that all of the punk bands who arent on mtv end up losing money playing warped tour, and 'sum41 blink182 and all of those fuckers make way more than any punk band ever would. I have a damned wife and kid to think about'

that is why i probably wont go to warped tour this year.

yeah they have a few good bands but there are tooo many that suck so its not worth it

Each year warped seems to get more and more mainstream. I'm still gonna go cause it's something to do, but it's slipping bigtime.

Seriously, everyone comes to see New Found Glory or Blink 182 and think they're hardcore. The Five Iron Frenzy stage has no audiance, while Blink 182 has like 20,00 people watching it.

the 5 iron frenzy stage has no audience because they suck. at Chicago and Pontiac last year, Rancid had the biggest crowd easilly.

Hey, I LIKE Five Iron Frenzy. They're less mainstream, and that's why they have less of an audiance. Same with RX Bandits. They have no audiance because the frat boys have never heard of them on MTV.

Uh, sorry to break it to you but Five Iron Frenzy has been pretty big for about 2 years running, and the RX Bandits were atleast not-so popular untill they toured with NFG, now they are big too.

The warped tour sucks...the pits are usually pathetic you get a bunch of retards that think its all about body checking each other. Its funny when some fat skinhead goes and kills all the frat boys. They dont allow diving either...and they have friggin barricades up. No punk show should have barricades.

almost evry punk show i go to has barricades set up. but yes, both of those 'ska' bands are pretty big now. The only reason I would go this year is to see Flogging Molly, The Casualties and The Unseen. Flogging Molly and The Casualties put on a great show earlier this year, and I have never seen the unseen

How much are tickets to go to this thing? I'm always out of town when it comes so I've never seen it I'm juts wondering if it would be worth paying for to see 2 or 3 bands.

The point was that the show I went to, there was nobody watching them, because they are not New Found Glory or Blink-182. Not whether they are big or not.

NO telejibber, unless you are a complete Unseen fan( i think they are breaking up after warped tour) do not go see warped tour. all of the good bands on it will tour really soon after it. They have to, since Warped tour fucks over real punk bands.

Flogging Molly

Circle Jerks

The Damned

The Casualties

The Unseen

Tiger Army

No Use for a Name

and there are about 20 bands on there i would make a strong efort to never see(reel big fish, good charlote, mxpx)
