ok so i need some help. ive ridden these bindings for about 5 or 6 times attop my mad trix....anyways ive had problems with them sense the second time ive used them. but it was just the brake so no biggy, but on wed i was grinding this log when it suddenly was pushed back and i couldnt click in, i also thought, no biggy so i moved em back up with a screw driver. then the first run i take the same thing happens so i use the screw drive again. and just as im ready to hit a jump i suddenly pop out again. so i go in to the onhill ski shop to talk with them and wehn i take a closer look we both realize that the heel piece isnt ....how you say...connected. idk how to explain it, but it swivels alot more than the freeflex lets it. but the paint drawing i made basically shows but im looken at. so i guess what im asking is this fixable and or is this good for warrentee? the guy was no help ps. they are carbon d9 free flex tryolia bindings.

ive never ridden a tyrolia but i wanna be cool so fuck tyrolia!

I am actually thinking of gettiing a pair of mad trix withthose tyrolia bindings. they are cheep, but now i am not so sure i want to. Has this happened to anyone else and are the bindings good, kinda good, or just awful?

 
Yeah man I hate Tyrolia's too. I have a pair of them and theyve given me nothing but shit. And theyre hardware breaks easily. Ive had screws get stripped, heads break off from them, and just the entire binding suck.

 
Tyrolias suck, I dont get why you guys would buy anything other than Look/Rossi how dense are some of you?

 
go back to the shop you picked em up at. If you've only used em 5-6 times you still have warrantee. And instead of getting them replaced, get credit and get a Look/Rossi instead.

its funny. the head skis are bombproof but the tyrolia bindings brake so easily

tyrolia sucks, i lost my brakes one time and had to get new ones. now i have anothe problem with the brakes, they dont go off when i lose my ski, so the ski aint braking, dangerous. never buying tyrolia bindings again

 
they seem to have a flimsy look to them. i skiied them once, and i prereleased on a tiny kicker just screwing around. go with look/rossi

jsut because your bindings broke doesnt mean that you have to go bitchtin to everyone about it and how the company sucks. Because tyrolia is a sick company. Shit breaks when you ski, you should know that. Its not liek you see alot of their shit breaking all the time. Its jsut bad luck on your behalf.

the reason you guys keep having trouble with tyroli bindings is because you are all cheap asses and buy the lowball shit. i raced on tyroli for 5 years and now i use them in the park and all over the mountain and i have never had trouble with them. you want a binding to say fuck to try salomon

 
tyrolia's takes FOREVER to warranty parts. I waited almost six months for a binding warranty two years ago. Haven't rode tyrolia since.

I've never had problems with tyrolia bindings. I've been on and off of them for a bunch of years.

tyrolias are just not built well unless you buy race stock, but there is no sense in doing that if he is only 120 lbs....i would say try and get credit to the shop and get look/rossi, like that one guy said to....

buy LOOK/ROSSI bindings next time the rossignol scratch bindings are now designed for wider skis and they are non-lifted, light, provide a lot of elastic travel which make a tight connection to the ski, but that's if your riding more park than anything

go fuck yourself. salomons are dope as hell. you just have to KNOW how and BE ABLE to adjust them to keep them set. they are light as hell, but dont prerelease and are durable as hell if you treat em right. ive like done stupid rails made of wood, got my edges stuck in the wood, and they stayed on. my dins at like 7 or 8 on my 912's. they shouldnt be disrespected if you dont know how to use them. when a shop sets it to you boot, alot of the time they dont even touch the rear retention setting. so go check that out and use an index card to get the wings to set right onto your boots.

Yes i heard from Sammy Carlson and a couple more of salomon riders that salomon bindings are one of the best out there if the DIN setting is at the right place, you have to know what DIN setting you should be at so go at your local ski shop and do it don't do it yourself.

tele bindings do fine, everyone should tele. dont have to worry about releasing or anything. its good shit. and cheap. 100-150 a pair.
