2 things - Fuck you Dspin, and Transworld should die. I can't belive that they are going to kill off Freeze, infact I refuse to belive it until someone proves it.

thats really upsetting. freeze did so much for skiing. but lately freeze did have poor writing and an unintriguing sense of humor Such as the testicle talks and some that dumb ass smack down section.

You can't blame Transworld for Freezes failure. If Freeze couldn't get enough sponsors, sales, and subscriptions to opperate as a profitable magazine it's not Transworlds fault. 2, the Euro mag folded too, and so did Axis...see a tred here...there is not enough interst to support all those mags...this has nothing to do with Transworld, it's an industry issue and it's a result of this segment of skiing not being profitable enough to support those magazines.

I've had a Freeze subscription since 1997, so yeah I'm disapointed too, but this is not a Transworld issue...

now as much as im dissapointed that Freeze is gonna be no more, obviously Transworld ended it for a REASON. No company kills off a highly sucessful magazine 'just cause'. Freeze must have been in a bad financial/circulation situation, so from a business standpoint..the wink link always gets removed...but that sucks Freeze will be no more

too bad they couldn't have just eliminated other shit that takes up their funding (the open, the movie tour etc) and kept the magazine up and running... freeze really had a huge part in bringing our sport to where it is now.

why elimiate the us open? that MAKES them a shitload of money, and even without Freeze on board, will continue to function (unless their idiots and cancel it, which would be a wrong move)

In ski business, you cant eliminate every competition that MASSIVE amounts of kids attend, that is THE competition of the year, and just put a mag out. It would be nice, but Freeze and the US OPEN went hand in hand

those guys should do it independently, like freeskier, ithink thats independent. only if transworld does not have rights to the name, maybe they wont be total assholes and they would sell the name to the same guys who got fired, but this is all wishfull thinking. we will see what happens.

Time Warner dropping them is just as stupid as the recent content of freeze. They brought the mag under their big umbrella, taking all of us along for the ride, and then drop the magazine as insignificant to their rotten cause.
