FUCK THIS THING IN MY HEAD!!!!

nah i believe you. good luck with that shit... i hope the payoff from the hospital's mistake covers all your expenses for the rest of your life...positive vibezzzz

haha i have an cochlear implant, and its not a phone jack buddy. its just a plug for a special cord that plugs into anything that an headphone would plug into. the only thing that i cant plug into is something that is plugged into the wall, because that would fry me.
but yeah it is pretty nice, i do it all the time in class, teachers cant even notice im listening to music!

I've had a horrible ear infection before, its the worst thing ever. It messes up everything in your body and gives you horrible headaches that feels like your head is gonna split open

i have that going on right now but it has gone away mostlyi got water in my ear and then i kept swimming and stuff and it got really bad and my whole head and stuff was messed up and my ear killed.so i went to the doc and they put me on 6 drops a day in the ear and some antibiodics

today i got water stuck in my ear when i was swimming and it wouldnt come out my friends dad had this thing(i forget what its called) and he put warm water in it and told me to squeeze it fast so the warm water would come shooting into my ear and pull down my ear lobe and it worked! i couldnt hear out of that ear and it worked once i figured out how to do it hahah

haha oooo jees might not be the most appropriate time but does NZ have socialized medicine???

so its ok having one? thanks man, helps so much to know im not the only person whos got fucked up ears.

so whats it like? i got no idea what im in for appart from the fact im getting massive head aches and ive got a migrane thats been killing my head for 5 hours

I guess i had it good then....

I got swine flu for about 5 days thanks to drinking in Australia, then all 8 sinuses in my head got infected followed by an inner ear infection...

and my doc was scared i would blow up my ear drum on the flight back hear to the USA

then I thought it was gone like a weak ago.. but i still cant hear everything i used to be able to hear. and i used to fit int the medium ear plug things that come with in ear buds... but now i only fit the small ones...

then i went swimming and almost got an outer ear infection.. it was hurting for a day, i was pissed. but then it went away.

so basically swine flu lasted 5 days.. but the effects last a month and you are weak for all of that. I lost 10 pounds in 5 days from that flu

yeah i was born deaf, and since getting the cochlear implant, i am now able to talk and hear with hearing people with no problems. you can hardly notice that i am deaf anymore, so it is amazing. i love my cochlear implant.
the only thing that depends on if you need the cochlear implant is if you are really losing your hearing or not.. it doesn't prevent ear infections and shit. it just helps you hear

btw moxa isnt an option, i have an dammaged cocknia nerve from my menangitis, only just realised myself, that when the backteria died, it released toxins into my head, right next to my cocknia (hearing nerve), and spinal cord. i now have a temporary hearing aid until monday, (your sunday (i is in NZ)) and that has inhanced some of the sounds i can hear but they are mostly buzzes, it is helping me understand peoples speech though, which is good

wow man tough story. not many teenagers would have shared that like you have done, wich I find respectable and super legit. I myself was a victim of wrong treatment, (although it was not medical) and it permanently fucked up my left knee.what are you guys doing as far as compensation goes? is there a legal system that ensures you the recources to live your life in a worthy way as well as a personal compensation, wich should cover everything from reduced income to permanent injury compensation? My dad hired a lawyer who took care of business and got me 200.000NOK (equals about $35.000). You really should talk to someone when it comes to this shit unless you havent done.Get well soon man, reading this shit really touched me. vibes!

thanks man, support really does help, e.g. with moral.

here in NZ we do have socialized medicine so it has hardly any cost, accept the batteries and programming of equipment that we get leant. our medical system is slow, and $$$ can speed it up dramatically if required. in my case, im under 20 in the education, so they want to get me back, so most things are free.

what you have must suck though. i will get better with some long term affects, but i will ride again. i think suacide would be something i would be considering if i didnt know that was the case, but hey, i have suffered from depression numerous times.

Well, it aint easy being steezey.

that being said, you should deff look into some compensation options. what this does it disables you in some ways, like me, I'm 13% physically disabled, which does not bother me its only stated on the paper, so it gives me a significant reduction in future job prospects. thats the kind of shit that needs to be taken care of. I am sure the system over there is quite different, but I recomend you look into it and maby get your parents to speak with someone who knows. Good luck mate, hope things work out for you!

i cant tell if your being serious about ahve swine flu and meningitis at the same time? those are both deadly, menangitis can kill in 12 hours flat. if anything your the luckiest man i know to be stll here. Im sorry man, + vibes

im looking into it, but none of the doctors and stuff seem to be taking me seriously.

im still not gonna hear any proper music for at least 6 months, which is gay.

went out for dinner lase night, without taking my steroids or my hearing aid =FAIL=

JUST GOT lent XBOX 360 WITH SHAUN WHITE SNOWBOARDING.

it gives me mad migranes though and can only watch/play it for 10 minutes at a time though

dude thats some serious shit. you should sue the shit out of that hospitol and take a nice ski vacation. just try to keep positive about things. try very low doses of shrooms for the migranes. they work amazingly. +vibes

bro im 13, and ive alredy stopped drinking red bull, temporarily, due to my doctor having extreme concerns as to my recovering brain. your advice is appriciated, but for a kid at 13, jea

I had som 10 year olds giving me shit about being drunk in the park today. (for the record i wasnt)

when i told them i actually wasnt and that im deaf an couldnt really hear anything they were saying, they started giving me shit about being retarded. it didnt help that i had some skis with me, to give to a friend, and theres no snow in the middle of the city.

i am now getting a taste for what it feels like to be on the other side of herrasment and preassure commonly put on people who have dissorders, weather it be temporary or permanent.

shit man your 13??
mad respect man, i had the flu for a night and couldn't stand it, i can't imagine what you've gone through
+++vibes man heal up so you can go shred, if theres anything we on ns can do to help just shout the word

wow bro, I really feel for you. Sounds like you are going through some serious stuff. Big congrats for handling it as well as you have. Hope you have a fast recovery.

Keep ya head up

yea that would probly make things worse. genseng works for migranes to if your doctors okay with that.

that sucks about the kids. you should have gone highlander all over their ass with those skis.

jesus christ man...

fuck me

i dont want swine flu...a bunch of kids in my dorm on my floor got it..fml

+so many vibes

cheers bro, swine flue wasnt that bad for me, but the meningitis treatment was.

btw i had an MRI scan and it was one of the most relaxing things i have ever experienced. they did find that my ears are no longer infected and my hearings just fucked though

i had an ear infection on vacation and it probably ruined 2-3 days of the trip but it doesn't sound close to what youre going through. good luck though

yeah i hear ya. i used to get shit for being deaf and i used to be dumb and beat the shit out of them and get in trouble. but now ive gotten so used to it i just shrug it off. but it does feel good to put someone in their place.

My vertigo brother, from another mother!

I have been off work for the last 2 months with a scrambled inner ear. I hear ya man, it blows. The worst part is how no one can do anything for you ... they just say , hang in there .. you should get over this .. eventually.

But like you my friend all I can say is .. Cheers to publicly funded health care, at least the snow isn't falling.

If I could get a ipod jack in the side of my head ... then, just maybe then, I would say it was all worth it.

not gonna happen man, i cant even walk strait. im gonna have to re learn to ski, which sucks.

CHAMONIX should be good though, at christmas
