Fuck the police

um NO we didn't do SHIT. we were partying, pretty mellow if you ask me, bumping beats but not obnoxiously-- i've been to far worse. some IDIOT decides to take refuge in the house we were at and therefore the cops follow this guy and are led to our party. the situation as a whole was really messed up. i don't think YOU'RE being fair in saying that all blame lies with us. do you go to college? people party, people have fun, and people act like idiots. yeah i am the one who chose to drink last night, but i wasn't the one who led 2-3 cruisers into a party with all my best friends.

sorry dude, but you can't rain on a parade you didn't even attend.

well the blame obviously doesn't fall directly on you all then because someone else basically led them there....but when they got there were you doing something illegal? If so, that's completely your fault. If they saw you doing something illegal, you just forced them to do their jobs. They didn't have a choice.

if anything, this should be titled "fuck the random guy who took refuge at the party house!" cause it's his fault.

(i also think we should all start saying "fuck the garbageman" because for some reason that made me laugh my ass off)

relax bro. i know where youre coming from, and for the most part i agree with you. but this wasnt her fault. it was some fool who was drunk and was already being tailed by the police. he should get bitched at. its not the polices fault photographer.

i agree, to even become a police officer you either have fucked up majorly in life and fall back on that or your just an asshole who loves to push people around, maybe 1 out of 100 cops fall outside of this group, to even consider being a cop you have to be a fucking idiot or an asshole that likes to push people around, and that is why its ok to hate the police

no cops shouldnt even do shit if your drinking underage, when i went to high school the cops would show up at high school parties where everyone was hammered just to make sure noone drove home drunk, officers can choose the laws they want to enforce and they should choose to ignore that law, its fucking bullshit if they enforce stupid shit like the underage drinking laws, the last time i was caught drinking underage i was in hartford smoking a fatass blunt and drinking in my car goodwin park at night and a cop rolled up, he couldve given me a DUI because im underage sitting in a car drinking, cited me for marijuana possesion and alcohol posssesion, but all he did was wave his gun in my face and scream at me, confiscate my completely legal knife, then make me smash my pipe and stomp on my weed, granted this was in hartford where they have crackheads and much more important things to worry about but cops need to stop enforcing stupid laws like underage drinking, its their choice
 
nah, like i said, fuck the kid that led them back to the party. I'm cool with underage drinking and shit, but even inadvertently, leading the cops back is awful. It's completely his fault.

The police were forced to break up your party and you were forced to leave because of him. You didn't get their attention, and they weren't looking for you, so fuck that kid.

I didn't really read the whole thread, so I might sound like an idiot here.... but it sounds like that one dude is arguing on behalf of the cops just because thats the law. yea underage drinking is illegal... but should it be? honestly, how archaic is it that we wont let someone drink something because they arent old enough? especially now days when human rights are huge, it just seems absurd that some third party government is seperating a consensual agreement between my lips and my liqour. shits fucked
 
I think that the police should worry about real threats to a community like hard drugs and murders and robberies and shit but if a cop roles up to my house and slaps me with possession im saying fuck his bigot ass all the way to court.
 
it is a stupid law, but the unfortunately the fact remains that it is a law, so the police have to enforce it. Unlike what some in here seem to think for some reason, police officers don't just pick and choose what laws they want to enforce. They are forced to enforce all the laws, regardless of how stupid and useless they are.

where the fuck are you getting this idea from? My father is a police officer, and at my school i'm surrounded by people studying to be cops or professors who are extremely knowledgeable about police work, and what they can and can't do, and not once in my entire LIFE have i ever heard that they can pick and choose.

If you're referring to them just looking the other way and ignoring it, then yes, they can do that, but that risks getting them into a ton of trouble if something happens because they didn't take any action. The police don't just have a big list of laws and they pick and choose which ones they are going to enforce that particular day.

ok, fair enough, i thought you were referring to them just choosing what they want to do. My bad, sorry man.

They do look the other way sometimes, but you have to be cautious. If they find a bunch of kids underage drinking or something and let it go, but later one of those kids dies by driving drunk or something like that, you know that those kids will blame the same cop that they were begging to let them go earlier in the night.
 
except that if they choose to enforce certain laws for some people and not for others, suddenly we have cops that are showing favortism....now you're bitching about how johnny got off for doing something last week but you ended up with a ticket for doing the same thing a week later....

 
yeah which is exactly why laws that are frequently ignored by police should be off the books in the first place, it hurts both parties
 
woah, thats a little harsh dont you think? shes not whining at all, just stating the facts as she knows it. i wasnt there, but ive heard from a few people what went down and if YOU were the kid in trouble and the cops were looking for you, id say that was a tool move for going to another party and putting others, expecially your friends in risk of getting written up by RA's or worse fined by the cops. RA's are easy to deal with but the PO is the real thing.

other then the fact that you are a tool with an overly use of inappropriate words for this thread, jen has every right to be upset with the PO and especially that kid, so suck a dick

on highway in alberta and started to freak so i pced it off and away but the cop followed me

and then saw another guy and went and pulled him over

i am the luckiest kid ever haah

but ya most police are annoying but they are just doing their jobs

 
I am willing to bet that more then half the kids who commented in this thread are still in highschool and only have to deal with mommy and daddy.

anyway, i cant believe this is so exciting for everyone. its a fucking saturday why arent you kids out riding bikes and playing in the street?
 
I agree, fuck the police. They can ruin your entire life for nothing, take your freedom, harass you, violate your rights, and a bunch if them are corrupt. I lived in echo park and the police station was selling crack, when they got busted there wasn't a single clean cop in the entire station. I handle my own shit, and a cop has never done anything good for me personally. But they fuck with me all the time. I've also had cops illegaly harass me, illegaly arrest me, and tell me some laws exist which just straight don't. And if you argue with them, "shut up I'm a cop".

Not saying all cops are bad, but way over half of the ones I've delt with are.
