mmm already a thread on this....its not that huge of a deal the kids were being little shits in the first place, the guy took it too far for sure but kids need to respect authority somewhat.

Dude that's fucking weak. Normally I support the police because kids are being dumb asses, but when it comes to kids skateboarding down the road like that... errrmmm... fat fuck needs to be fired. Such bullshit he can be violent like that.
 
i really have no sympathy here. the law is in place and when people get arrested for breaking said laws everyone gets up in arms. it was obvious they were resisting arrest so the cops followed protocal. sure they may have been a little too excessive but when you run this shit happens.

i would really like to see video of what went on before the start of that video. i don't doubt the kids were warned and judging by how they were acting, probably told the cop to "fuck off" at that point the cop is within his right to arrest.

im getting sick of little kids screaming fuck the police because they're breaking the law. fuck if it's such a big deal then the case will be dismissed and the officer reprimanded.

 
but were they resisting arrest. in the other thread someone said that in arkansas skateboarding is only fineable. you couldn't get arrested for it
 
yea i agree completly, a few of you guys all say you've met alot of good cops. Thats cool, im glad you have, cause I sure has hell havent met alot of good ones. Iv met alot of cops that are power tripping assholes that seem to take alot of pleasure in arresting me and my friends when all we are doing is skating or biking threw a area.

 
yea police have a job to keep the streets safe and im fine with that, but what is with hating on skateboaring its not like we cause gang violance or are dealin we just want to skate, they got better shit to worry about than us imo
 
Isn't 'resisting arrest' a common term used when somebody resists ANY punishment? I'm pretty sure that even if somebody refuses a terry stop it can be 'resisting arrest.'
 
What about excessive force? We don't know the whole story obviously, but it looked like that on the first kid. The second... yeah whatever he ran, he got caught, his fault. I guess you can expect this more out of kids because of videos of security guards being dicks and assaulting kids.
 
i'm not sure. i've only taken a business and personal law class. never constitional. i wouldn't think it would mean any sort of punishment. any law majors out there?
 
ya thats fucked up its not that big of a deal. The cop should of let them run its not like there gonna come back to that spot because thats just stupid. But it does also depend on what they were saying and doing before he got there.
 
regardless of the law, the cop tells you to do something, you do it and shut your lip...dont try being a fuckin hero. the cops will win
 
Oh and P.S. I've run into a lot of nice cops and only one instance with two bad cops... shit sucked really bad. But for the most part, again, I agree with the police.
 
the best part was that they weren't even like sessioning a rail it looked like they were just skating down the sidewalk.

and the video of the kid who called seemed like a tool.
 
I looked through my notes from class, it's 'resisting a police officer' or 'disorderly conduct' and that, in turn, can turn into means for arrest, thus resulting in 'resisting arrest.'

ha, i called that number and the dude who answered was pissed.

this is everywhere, ive seen like 5 bulitens on myspace for it as well, from larger bands as well. the guy was like im not talking about that, its under investigation and hung up on me.

i have half a mind to call him back and lecture him, or is superior about how i am a citizen here and i do pay taxes and i don't appreciate him hanging up on me like that, and i want to file a complaint against him.

there is absolutely no reason or excuse for how those officers acted towards those kids. especially a girl. he deserves to lose his job for that. as an office you have a privileged authority, that is an obvious abuse of that. those kids were 13 or 14, that guy would NEVER have a problem dealing with them, he is twice their size. and i think for the most part other than that one kid getting out of there, they were all very cooperative. its not like they ran off when that cop chased them down.

i would not be the least bit surprised if those kids parents all sue that guy and win a lot of money.
 
There's an investigation going about the cop's actions. He's been placed on "administrative leave until further notice." With that said, keep calling.
 
think about it. since this vid, they have been contacted 18189234174 times. im sure the recepionist lady/man is getting annoyed, as is the whole department. this is a matter between the police officer in question, the dept he works for, and the children involved adn their parents.
 
actually there are way more bad cops than good cops and defending them is retarted soo how about we go back to the original thread title of FUCK the POLice casue there all a bunch of over weught faggots on a power trip and they were the kids at school who got beaten up and never got laid.. so they take it out on the rest of the world
 
the only way that this guy will ever get away with it is if the government covers his ass and says he was within his rights under the patriot act. if he does get out of it, i will personally protest that to the best of my ability. that is a violation of those kids civil rights as citizens. that should never ever ever happen, especially coming from someone representing the state.
