Anyways,as for Al Qaeda links, are you people not aware of the fact that Saddam and Osama wouldn't even meet or speak to each other? They tried to form some sort of agreement at one point, but it fell through immediately because of religious differences. The two hated each other. If Al Qaeda had interests in Iraq (as they seem to in every other country in the region), it is very unlikely that Saddam's regime had its part in them. Because of this, it only makes sense that the organization has a firmer foothold in more terrorist-friendly places, such as Iran. Which consequently also has Chem. Weaps. well that is a really stupid point to make, and it is 100% untrue. Well why not North Korea? Pakistan? Libya? Syria? Nigeria? Colombia? Frick, China too? Russia, maybe? I realize you dont all agree with the War in Iraq, but remember that it was felt at one point, according to world intelligence, that it had the possibility of being an immediate threat. Iraq was already under the eye of the UN, which I'm sure some of the above are too, so anything going on there was obviously going to be delt with sooner. Whether is was delt with properly is another question, but sitting there talking about dealing with the situation at hand tends to only cause more problems further down the road.

I wouldnt mind if the states liberated us from our dictator.

ok, for YEARS iraq had been shooting missliles at US planes. Under UN sactions, they were legally allowed to do so. Firing on another country's planes is an act of war. for years, we had just focused on containment and blown up a SAM site here and there, will not doing anything to iraq's military ability. Mind you, we were helping the UN at this point by patroling no-fly zones. so, after being attcaked for years in the air, President Bush decides enough is enough. yet another reason war was justified in iraq.

huh? un inspectors never found missiles? im not so sure on that... im pretty confident that if the inspectors hadnt, the us troops did find a number of missiles that exceeded what the un resolutions had allowed iraq to posses.
