sitting in school right now bored outa my mind yeappppppp rather be at the hill in the park...... yeah screwschool
 
yeah school sucks, tried college, hated it but now my life is much better without any school besides what i am able to teach myself through experience!
 
Experience is the Greatest teacher of all. But give college a try because you dont know if you wont like it untill you try it. (wow, i sound like my dad)
 
What I've learned about learning through my 15 years of school... if you're interested in learning and get over the fact that being ignorant is cool and smart is for losers, and you find what you're interested in, learning is without a doubt one of the most rewarding, enjoyable things you can do. It's sad our educational system fails so often.

i dont go to school right now, and wont till april 2nd and i wont have school on fridays once i start... yeah, drop out of high school and go to your local Community colege and get a high school diploma there, do it
 
pssh screw school? fuck NO! if i fuck school, then my life would be a ski bum or not even a ski bum maybe even a bum. im going to college near a mountain, get a high payed job for like no work like eye doctor, then ski all i freaking want, or become a business man who ownes his own business and only has to make phone calls from his mt home from 6-8 and tell people what to do. fuck no im not dropping out of high school or college. but i do get bored in school
 
haha holy crap dude, if your gonna be a doctor you'll have to go to med school which in most cases arent to close to mtns, if they are you'll be so busy you wont hardly have the time to get on the slopes. Once you graduate your first four years of basic classes, that will tie you down, you'll have a 3 year graduate program, where being a doctor will be your life, then after that you'll have to Intern for 1 year, and will have to take work where you get it, so by then your almost 29 and have been so busy with school, that you'll maybe get to ski a day a weekend! life isnt all about skiing, and you do have to make a living. I'm glad your sticking in school, but i think your perspective of how your life will be is about a million miles off. With what i'm trying to do i may get 10-20 days of skiing for myself in, and its in the ski industry too. And those are days i wouldnt be working....
 
school is too important to fuck. you fuck school, you might as well fuck your life. you think some shit burger flippin 15yr old can do better than you job is gonna get you a new oakley suit w/ new oakley crowbars and the news 4frnts w/rossi fks's and the superstar spk boots, along with paying your rent and taxes? i dont think so. if you can make it work like that, then go for it, but im not gonna take my chances.
 
its because they dont offer the choice to choose for alot of subjects till college, and that is so selective that not all get to learn what they want
 
I'm going into my last year of high school and feel like not caring anymore and moving to france or somewhere and become a ski instructor, but then i think, where am i going to get the money? what do i do when i cant ski anymore? and that i wouldn't have a good future to support a family. I'm probably think WAY too far ahead but ahwel.

I wana get a job linked to skiing atleast.

Anyone got any good ideas?
 
oh there are a shitload more reasons then that, I'm very aware of them and have discussed them with education officials in the past, believe me, I know a good deal about this subject...
 
just sleep in school. thats what i do. i have every period of the day designated for either eating, sleeping, or homework that i didnt do the night before.
 
im not gonna be a doctor and i know that for a fact, even tho i said i want to be i know im not cuz really i dont wanna go through that much school. so i just wanna be that business man who ownes his own huge business.
 
I think EXACTLY what you think. It's my dilemma right now. Being a ski instructor is really fun, but definitely one must have like a backup degree or something. And that something hopefully has to be related to skiing. Oh gosh....it's so complicated...I can just say, Good luck!

im in the library and i get to leave in five minutes. longest five minutes of my life. its bluebird out though! cant wait.
 
homeschooling has payed off for gettin me days on the snow, but it gets really lonely and i can never get away with anything...
 
my school overlooks my mountain so when im sitting in classes im forced to look at it.... i was dewing an exsam 2day... dam iv failed that so badly all i did was daydream for like the whole period just starring at the fresh snow and blue skys . it was torture then i find out my physics teacher took the day of school to go skiing... and when he is in school hes always bragging about his chalet he owns in chamonix... :-( so my teachere dont make it any easier for me
 
Im in all level 1 classes and I usually get tons of homework, but this week I haven't and I've been able to ski alot more...
 
I went to school once. Then I graduated. I wish I was like my other friends who dropped out and have to work super hard just to pay rent. They never have to ski. Oh well, maybe one day...
 
I like school, it's the easiest way to learn a large amount of stuff in a short time. I've tried teaching myself, doesn't work out too well.
 
word dude, your picturesqe life is still pretty far off, skiing every day and bossing people around is pretty much only real if it runs in the family or if your first in your class at oxford, or some crazy institute.
 
what the hell is wrong with you man. Your setting a real good example here....NOT.... dude you feel really shitty if you drop out and take the easy road out and get your ged or diploma later. That is for losers. Tough it out and go to school and then try college. More schooling= More money, Less schooling= less money its a no brainer. BE COOL AND STAY IN SCHOOL. haha i sound like an teacher.
 
I missed this thread. but im bringing it back because.... holy fuck i feel like im wasting my life sitting in school as a senior accepted into the college im going to. soooo fucking worthless. i walked into calc today and my teacher reintroduced himself to me.... i just cant bring myself to go
 
lots of kids in my classes have laptops to take notes and just browse forums during the lectures..

but why you would pay $300 per course to sit in class and browse forums is beyond me.
 
oh..for college, well i was talking about high school cuz this kid said he was in bio class, and i belive thats in 9th grade.
