Fuck pittsburgh

The time out one is not undeniable. although I must say, I didn't realize that's what he was trying to signal. But he made that motion before the clock went down to zero. I'll admit that often, it takes a few seconds for the refs to actually call the time out, but it really shouldn't take any time between when the QB makes the signal and when the clock actually stops. I think it was a great heads up call by Roethlisburger.

I'll give the block one to you tho. Bad call.

are you fucking kidding me, pittsburg had three big plays, and did nothing else. if anything, holmgren did a better job moving the ball on that defense that was supposed to be so good. i don't want to talk about the refs, but where were the holding calls on the steelers, on the replays you see some ridiculous ones where linemen are grabbing jerseys and takling hawks from behind. and to add insult they give hasselback a blocking penalty on his tackle, and miss a horse collar when the ref was standing five feet away, then there are the big three that get me so pissed of, i want an asterisk next to this saying the refs were bought, cause this was the worst officiated game since the one that made instant replay neccessary, which was also against the hawks (testeverde moving the ball 2 yards for a td after the play was dead)

you are a little bitch, i'd like to see you make a 50 and a 54 yarder, josh brown is solid, just wasn't his day. and you won't see any other kickers have 50 yarders go into the net, he can kick the shit out of the ball but just missed, and six points would not have affected the outcome, we all know it was the refs who did, and they also killed any momentum the seahawks had.

I know it must suck to lose the big one, but seatle has nobody to blame on that one than themselves. While the steelers didn't play an entirely stellar game, the seahawks just didn't show up to play. 2 missed field goals (in a dome no less). Hasselbeck played very poorly. The steelers basically shut down the seahawks run game.

Now a few of the calls were questionable. Personally Ben's touchdown didn't break the goal plane, but 90% of teams would have went for it on 4th down anyways. And even if they didn't make it, The steelers won by 11. And the push in the endzone was a good call in my mind. You need to play the ball and not the body. When the offensive player has his hands on the defender before the ball comes, theres a problem.

All in all, if the seahawks would've made the 2 field goals, and hasselbeck would've played a little smarter, that would have been a different game.

so if they didnt call hasselbeck for the block and did call ben for his illegal block, for sure that would negate a td for you. 7 point swing.

now just admit one more of any of the numerous shitty calls against seattle. and thatd be a 14 point swing.

its not just seattle fans bitching, go look at espn's online forums....fans from every team are acknowledging that there was some very shady officiating.

Not to mention all the commentators: Steve Madden, Al Michaels, John Elway, and Mike Irvin said there were shitty calls.

Argue with them, they dont know football very well.

Elway, irvin, and the entire bdssp crew aid that there were questionable calls but that the hawks definatly lost it for themselves

i heard about twenty grown men in seahawks jerseys whining about that pass interference while walking out of ford field. There have been way worse pass inererence calls in this years playoffs where the player wasn't even touched before the ball came however the defender was clearly pushed away from the ball

and so every slopestyle, superpipe, bigair, and big mountain comp you've ever seen.....you've agreed with the judges placing 100%?

hypocrite.

ya, the whole town of pittsburgh was shut down today for a parade and rally, there were 250,000 people it town for a city-wide party. I had to park like 3 miles outside of town, like .5 miles from heinz field, and rode my bike in so i could see anything.... this town is insane

i'm sorry, but who shut down who's run game? one 75 yard run by willie parker and not much else, and oh yea, jerome bettis who? alexander had 95 yards on 20 carries, geez.

haha i never said the steelers running game was awesome in the game. But they did hold the fucking league MVP to under 100 yards and no rushing touchdowns.

Not too shabby considering he's the Most Valuable Player in the entire league.

You can cry your eyes out more than the annual rainfall. I'm sorry, the seahawks just didn't deserve to win that game. Holmgren can whine all he wants, about a few calls.

Do you want to talk about getting fucked in the ass? Pittsburgh got an official league apology after the indy game. Anyone will agree that the officiating in that game was much worse than in the superbowl. And guess what, pittsburgh pulled their heads out of their asses and still found a way to win. And if memory serves me correct, the referees actually fucked up a coin toss in an overtime game, and the steelers had to kick off, and they lost.

The seahawks aren't the only team that has ever been on the short end of the stick.

^i'm not crying about anything, haha. all i'm saying is that, considering how much more the steeler's rely on the run, i'd say that the seahawks did a better job shutting down the steeler's run game more so than the steeler's shutting down the seahawk's. though i am a hawks fan, the game was just crappy; for everyone.

all the seahawks fans have to have something/someone to blame.. where were the reffs on randel els bomb? why didn't they just make a tackle for the seahawks damn.. if you have forgotten when the steelers beat the colts to get to the superbowl they also had terrible calls... its how you overcome them and polamolu's interception that was ruled incomplete (by farrrr worse then any of the calls during the superbowl) should have iced the game.. but they battled anyways and still won it, one of the important things is how you deal with calls because everyone gets bad calls and you have to keep playing and overcome them

um, alexander had 20 carries for 95 yards, that's not really shutting down the run. basically if stevens had caught pass like he did all year, they would have converted three third downs and have been in scoring position, this didn't happen. and hasselback did fine, he had one bad play were a ball sailed on him when he was trying to make something happen late in the game. then the refs gave him a blocking penalty on his tackle, which was complete shit. also, i don't think that was a holding on the play before the interception that would have gotten the ball to the two, where shaun is automatic (see league record 28 TDs). the pass interference was close though i don't feel that he impeded the defenders efforts to get the ball. what gets me pissed is the ref didn't through the flag until after the cb complained. same with the roethlisberger td, the reg signaled down then changed his call when he moved the ball over the goaline. and about the kicking, are you reaqlly going to blame someone for missing two 50+ yarders?

Word, we shat on roethlisberger, 22.6 QB rating hahahaha. actually hawks domitated other than three plays. three BIG plays.

actually i think it was a combo between that amazing double-reverse touchdown pass, or w/e it was, the 75 yard rush (new record) and seattle's qb blowing it late game. woohoo lets throw it sideways with like 30 seconds left. the least you can do is throw a few bombs - you really have nothing to loose.

im from washington. i don't think we can play the game on the refs because we deffiantly didn't play that well. I do think the refs did make questionable calls but whatever.

cry me a river seahawks blew cock that game and they were caught off guard quite a bit not only with randel els pass but when parker ran it in 4 a td PITTSBURG kicked ur seatle asses so better luck nxt yr

dude watch around the horn and buy a proper tv. maybe then you would understand why the Steelers didnt deserve that win.

yeah im from seattle and i hope pittsburgh fans realize that the refs won the game for you stupid little joke of a team. we played like shit and STILL would have won, had it not been for the completely biased reffing. Ben even admitted that that wasnt a touchdown on david letterman!!!!!!!!! plus, the offensive pass interferance call was bullshit, there was just as much interference with the defense. and FURTHERMORE, they called a fucking blocking penalty on MATT HASSELBACK!!! when clearly, all he did was tackle the stupid mother fucker. im still sour about this game because seatown deserved the win, fucking pittsburg bastards
