so i just flew to SLC from minnesota sit around for fuckin a half hour waiting for my skis... find out they left the whole cart of skis in MN, there were about 15 ppl there w/o skis. so they tell us all that they will bring them up to the resorts once they get in, and we will get free rentals for today and possibly tommarow. heres the catch i had to fly stand by because my dad is a pilot for northwest, and of course i dont get any of that shit they offered. i called them to see where they were and the lady cant find where they are. if they show up ill have to make my brother drive down to the airport again so i can get them. but most likly im not gonna see my 4frnt msps again. they lost my moms bag last year while she was on a 2 week trip. $800 worth of shit, they pay for it? nope gotta love how they dont help out employees or their family members

gotta love losing a $600 pair of skis
 
That sucks sooooo bad. And i bet you can't sue them. I think when you do the whole standby things it voids just about anything.
 
So the best way to avoid lost baggage is to bring and declare a gun/rifle in your checked luggage. Seriously, if you bring a gun/rifle and declare it in your checked baggage all you have to do is fill out a small form and your baggage is pretty much guaranteed not to get lost. Think how disastrous it would be for an airline to loose a bag with a gun in it, there not gonna let it happen. And if you don't have a gun a starter pistol -- like for sports -- is considered a gun too. Similarly, this method works if you have expensive equipment -- like nice cameras -- that you don't want any baggage employee to steal because the TSA guys tape up your bag in-front of you and stuff.

Oh and make sure the gun is not loaded and has a proper case and lock on it.

so after going back at 7 tonight after they said they were on the flight, ya they werent so i had to wait around till midnight. finally got them. im goin to sleep cuz i need to get up early because its snowing
 
ya forsure man^ im in a way better mood now it was lookin ugly for awhile. they forsure lost a pair of some ones skis from our flight tho. they straight up told him they didnt no where they were. fuckin gayyyyy
 
You were missing an important par, the firearm has to be registered in your name or you have to be a liscensed dealer. Starter pistol or flare gun might work. LOL!
