Fuck my parents suck, NS i need your help

this happened to someone i know.

if you dont ask again until like the beginning of march, the chances are you will likely be able to go.

just punish yourself. lock up your own computer, stop using your car, and lock yourself in your room. actually its a pretty bad idea, but i decided to try to be creative instead of just saying what everyone else has already said.

dont do anything that seems like you're trying to defend yourself or your actions and dont try to prove that weed is good. thats a good idea and it hasnt been said. i dont think.
 
dude my dad would totally arrest me. and i can completely see him cutting me off if he ever found out that i did drugs. that would suck.
 
this is actually pretty legit. basically, its an acceptable guilt trip to lay on your parents if they have indeed tried smoking pot themselves. pointing out their own guilt in the matter, and the fact that you have your life/grades/shit together, should - provided you have reasonable parents - be at least somewhat effective in changing their minds. good luck, sounds like you need it.
 
Educate your parents. Tell them how its not harmfull and ask them how exactly it has fucked up your life. You say you have a 3.8 GPA, and never get in trouble, so why the fuck would they care?

To win an argument you dont have to be right, all you have to do is prove them wrong.
 
shut up...and r ur parents teahcers by and chance cas my parents are the same way both my parents are teachers,dad is a dean and mom teaches 6th grade...u should of said u dont and gone out and bought niason or w/e i lied and it worked
 
How? What are they going to do? When they're out get all your ski stuff loaded, have your friend pull up early he next day before they wake up and ninja off.

so true...one night at a party i got real fucked up and like a week or two later my parents said they heard i was drinking...i denied the shit outta it. they had no proof they just said they heard from someone. i told them they must have the wrong info. i just told them i was actin like an idiot like i always do. i don't think they believed me but i didn't get in trouble
 
just tell them: "well, if i can't go skiing, i guess i'll have to do something else, i think i'll try heroine. there ain't no point in not destroying myself if i can't ski."

it'll wrok, trust me.

if it dosen't- just go get fucking wasted as many times as it takes till they let you go, then can't stop you from getting wasted.

Or you could accept you live in you're parents house, are under their rules, and deal with it. Your a Senior and freedom is months away, don't flip out.
 
Just play good boy for a while around/with them. Talk to them for sure. Tell them how it hasn't affected your grades and so on. Just give them the sob story.

But eh.. You're a SENIOR?? Why the hell don't you just NOT listen to what you're parents last words are before the trip, and LEAVE.

And I disagree to a point. I have two friends, a roommate and a frat brother, who were casual smokers, intelligent kids. They both went from casual smoking to smoking a few times a day and they honestly reduced their ability to have conversations, their social skills, it was bad. They turned into dumb dumb kids.
 
i think the first kid or whatever was right. what you typed right there said it all. if they know about your account on NS, maybe theres someway they will read it or you can copy paste it. but that might come off as too trying. if your a senior in high school, they SHOULD start to let ya do your own thing, but sounds like they arnt. give it a while, then sit them down and talk to them. be straight up, honest, and tell that your going away to college, and its prolly better that you learn the ropes in a semi-controlled Enviroment than there. tell the you completely relized that its not all fun and games. i was in a similar situation in my soph/junior year, and it SUCKED. i really grew up that summer, and my senior year kicked ass. if you wanna be treated like an adult, act like one. dont take some 14 yr olds advice. tell them you appreciate how much they care about you. if you act like an adult, they WILL treat you like one. my rents are SOOO cool now that i started acting less like a lil dick. they are with me partying (cause i dont get into trouble), i always drink a beer or two with my dad when i go home.

i completely agree with thier actions, especially considering your making a post saying FUCK MY RENTS, on NS of all places. show them your not a man, and not some kid, and they WILL treat you like one. PEACE OUT
 
Did your parents ever use to smoke cigarettes or do? Cause if they do or did, I guarantee they've smoked weed.

Also, tell them it's safer for you physically, socially and mentally then alcohol.

I swear everyone has or did smoke pot. Very few people haven't at least tried it. It's no big deal.

Like I've only done it 3 times, but I don't see why it's illegal.
