was that the first time you ever got hurt? you're hyping this damn finger injury like you just survived cancer or something. you cut your finger to the bone... ok? big deal. i mean, that's gnar and all, but stop making such a huge deal out of it. start riding DH and gashes to the bone become business as usual. i've seen my right tibia twice, my right kneecap once, had my right collar bone come through the skin (damn, the right side of my body hates me), blah blah blah, broken a bunch of bones, blah blah yadda yadda, get hurt more often and develop testicles. ever seen the tip of a finger filleted like a fish? i had an infection under the nail on my left index finger caused by the parts washer at the bike shop i used to work at... long story short, they opened my finger by making a big X right on the tip with a scalpel and peeling back the skin to relieve fluid pressure. basically, i had a fingernail hanging over raw flesh and the bone tip of my finger once all the fluid had drained. looked like Tales from the Crip or some shit.
a finger gash ain't a big deal... and before you try telling me you aren't making a big deal out of it, look at the title of the thread. you said "fuck my life" because your brother cut his finger. go cry about it.
