FUCK my hard drive is dead!

So yeah the title says it all. My hdd on my laptop is fucking dead. Some kind of sector defect. This blows cause I have so many pictures and personal files including alot of movies and music. I am so fucking pissed of right now. This is not supposed to happen to a computer which I bought September last year.

if the disk still spins you can recover a good portion of your files if its only a sector failure. there are non-os based programs you can use. i have no idea how to use them but my dad is an expert with computers (its his career)

Download Stellar Phoenix.. it recovered my whole second hard drive when my brother broke my computer.

yeah I have taken the disk out of the notebook now and have connected it to an adapter which makes it act like an external drive. But the files are all messed up so I have to use a recovery application to make new sectors so that the files are viewable like before. Motherfuck this sucks and takes so long time
