Fuck midterms

i had them over two weeks ago (college) and didnt study at all. they werent bad, and my worst one was a C+.. not bad when i sleep through every class.

just shows how well you can make it with just common sense

ive had an exam almost every week since like 3 weeks after school started. seriously sucks, got one tomo too.

just finished my last one on monday. now it's time to start writing all those papers due by the end of the semester before i have to start thinking about finals. less than one month left of actual classes though!

I have had classes like this.... But they were freshmen year and usually things like com 100.

I have a midterm this week in Micro Economics on thursday and then one in Business Ethics on Saturday.
Not excited about it, but I'm not too worried. I've been working really hard in both considering they are prerequisites for the MBA program I want to get into.

On my first set of midterms i got:

58, 70, 75, 80 overall pretty happy apart from 58.

in the next two weeks i have another midterm, 2 essays and a project.

not looking forward to it.

Your real college doesnt mean all real colleges.
At my school C+ is generally thought of as a decent grade.
My school publicly advertises that a B here is like an A anywhere else. And gradschools do view it that way as well.

It is a science based university though with top degrees being in engineering, animal science, agriculture and business. So our education system is a lot different than most universities making it more difficult to get A's and B's.
So don't assume that every college is like your college.

I got a C+ in advanced genetics for bio majors as a non bio major. I was damn proud considering the class average was in fact a C.
My final in my forensic anthropology class (essay final) was 8 pages single spaced. I got the highest score in the class with a B+
Different schools, different standards. No need to act superior. His C+ could have been in freshmen communications and he could have just not cared. I failed freshmen history my first time because I forgot to set my alarm for my midterm.
If you don't care about a class, you don't care.

I play it class by class.

I am an Env. Sci major, so I expect an A in the classes that directly pertain to it.

Calculus: even though it is a major requirement, isn't something that I will use as much. That, and the fact that I can't wrap my mind around would leave me perfectly happy with a c+.

Don't be a dick dude, all people think differently!

its just one of those things that literally sits in the back of your head all the time until they're over. like you can be having sex thinking, dam i have midterms, on a roller coaster, skiing, etc.

I just took one that I didnt know was a midterm. We have quizzes every Tuesday and I just assumed it was another quiz. Nope midterm... Is 2.5/15 good lol??? I should go to class

i thought midterms were a few weeks ago, but its been endless tests and papers leading me to believe otherwise

ive failed two tests in this world music class now... its not even a hard class, i just dont fucking get music shit.

DAMN YOU ARTS CORE REQUIREMENTS!!!

that's how my school is. we have a different system for the gpa as a result. a good grade between a 70 and a 75 which earn you a B or a B+

Apparently you have never had to write 8 pages single spaced worth of scientific content in one night.
That is a very hard assignment and the professor does not expect A's. On the midterm the average score was a 60 out of 100 I believe.
I didn't say I go to the hardest school ever. I'm just saying that not all C+'s are bad and one shouldn't determine they are better because they get A's.

no... first I thought I was going to be an archaeologist... then I thought I was going to be a medical anthropologist....
There are only approx 50 working forensic anthropologists in the US and almost all of them are only part time. Not a very lucrative career choice.
Instead I'm getting my MBA and working in the action sports industry and do non profit work on the side.
Funny how things change.
