Im sorry but earlier today i heard someone say Eminem is one of the best rappers ever....after much debate he then tried to say he is at least the best white rapper ever.
This is ridiculous. I think it really sucks that people today get so sucked into mainstream rap and hip hop like 50-cent, Eminem and shitty ass Drake.
First off i think of the best white rappers out there is Grieves. If you havent heard him check him out, he is a perfect example of someone who can use lyrical wordplay and an actually help progress the evolution of hip hop.
Also list who you guys see as the best rapper out there, and why, its always nice to hear new artist and hear why people actually enjoy listening to a specific artist.
Currently my favorite rapper of all time is Del the funky, his rhymes are unmatched in my eyes. Listening to the stories and messages he portrays though his music are plain incredible.

eminem is the shit, his story is prob the best too. dre and eminem together, just legends. and lil wayne is a fucking homo. to say hes the best is funny, just listen to "ransom" he just shits out of his mouth.

What do you mean? I love hearing a guy say BMers Benz and Bentlys for 3 mins followed up by four more songs objectifying my body. Only WarrenG is allowed to do the later.
 
hip hop is not about progression, it's just musical expression.

also del's rhymes are definitely not unmatched. personally i think chali 2na and gza are levels above him in terms of lyrics, style, delivery, everything etc.

i think what i meant is its frustrating to see a lot of really talented artist don't get the recognition they deserve...groups like People Under the Stairs, etc
and the Del thing is personal to me, no one can touch the killa bee's
 
Seriously, go fuck yourself OP. Music is subjective, anyone saying 'so and so is the best' is just an idiot. If you actually loved music you would laugh in his face and not even argue with someone that dumb.

Just because you don't like mainstream rap and wanna be all cool and different doesn't mean the music isn't good. I could argue with you all day but I won't bother because I already know you're just one of those lame kids that think you're better than other music buffs because you know some lesser known artists. And it's laughable that you claim 50-cent as mainstream. He hasn't been relevant in the industry for 5 years besides his stupid beef with Kanye.

Oh and you're favorite rapper is Del? Sure 3030 was a cool concept and Brother George was a hilarious album, but you need to get the fuck outta the 90's and stop thinking you're better than people. Hieroglyphics are great but Jesus, their last album came out like 6 years ago.

I'll only say this. There is a reason that artists make it to the top. Granted a few might get there through easier paths by knowing someone or whatever but most grind every day just to be heard. All of your faggy 'underground' artists would kill to be relevant and heard on the radio.

I hope you get hella -karma for being a little whiney music bitch. Just enjoy the music man, go see a show or something.
