Brand new p12 jib's fucked because of a bent brake hanger. The brake is also fucked. IM getting super tired of this shit this has happend sooo many time's this season. I didnt even loose my skis when this happend i just landed switch.

maybee your boot souls are woren out. If they are worn and not making proper contact to your brake and not keeping it in its up position.

And it's not like it's a binding issue, if you're just destroying brakes, you can replace them easily enough. Your bindings should still be under warrantee, right? Most shops have look brakes in stock... so it's not like you'd have to wait for them to ship you new ones.

lange fits my foot better, i love the boots i have now, ill see if i can even out the bottom of them because there petty worn, ill keep you guys posted on the outcome. And NO to other Binder's.

i just ran a few tests and the boot sole is not worn at all where it contacts the brake pad, im going to tighten my rear din from 8 to 10 and see if that helps keep my heel down.

if it's worn at the back of the boot (not where it contacts the brake, but the very back) it might not sit properly, lift a bit, and that could cause your problem. So make sure it isn't worn there either.

if you said you got lange boots you can just buy the lillte plates things that go on the bottom and they just unscrew the old ones and put new ones on its only like 35$$ for a pair of those plates if not cheaper and i know lange does it and im sure lots of other boot companys do it to just ask your shop

 
not necasarily, cause hes foot may bee pulling out of the binding, but not all the way, so if he tightens it then it may not pull up at all.

not really, they slap a name on the boot, jack up the price $100 and people think it is worth it. i love my tecnicas, but someone needsto make a brake that can survive ejecting switch. i was thinking like a pivot in the brake rods on the sides, with a rubber dampener to keep it still stiff, but absorb the shock when it gets bent too far forward. or as my dad suggested, the heelpiece needs a little parachute that pops out when you pop out

actualy 1080s are pretty shitty boots as far as salomons go. The Xwaves or the Promodels are much better.

I've been thinking almost the same thing guddgulf... all binding companies would have to do would be to put a spring that would allow brakes to bend back when they come down on a switch landing, but have it strong enough so it would still slow the ski down like brakes are supposed to
