so heres the story: i woke up this morin an decided it would be a good day to ski, so i went to the bank got 40 dollars an headed up to the slopes, i get there spend 35 on a ticket and then go ski. Well after a few runs in the park i decided to go hit up some bigger slopes, well they had just blown snow and there were huge mounds, well i wasd headed down the slope goin pretty quick and then went over a mound and i couldnt see on the other side of it...So right as i landed on the backside of the mound a little fuckin 8 year old cuts right in front of me, i cut to the left as hard as i could but didnt quite make it, i nailed the little kid, it threw striaght out of my binding and caused to damn front flip in the air and slide down the slope another 25 feet, right when i stood up i didnt know what the hell happened, then this little kids dad starts cussin me out an shit, i got all pissed off and started yellin back an almost hit the old fuck. Well just about that time the ski patrol came checked the kid out and got my name and all that stuff and then wrote up a fuckin report!! and then right before they take the little kid down the slope the dad trys to tell me im responsible for all this and that im gonna have to pay for all his medical bills, i got pissed and told him to fuck off, then the ski patrol told me to go down so they could take care of everything at the bottom of the mountian, well turns out all the ski patrol were on my side cause they all knew me and backed my story up all the way and so i didnt get any trouble, i did however end up with a broken thumb a bent joystick pole and a huge as fuckin gash takin out of my new salomon foils which really pissed me the fuck off, but that dumbass kid who cut me off got a broken collarbone so i didnt feel to bad about my shit then, but damn it was a waste of a 35 dollar ticket and fucked alot of shit up.....so moral of story little kids need to learn how to ski on slopes that they can ski!!!!! and also learn to whach whast going on around them at all times......

of corse i used be little and not know how to ski but i also stayed in control, and also always knew what was around me, and didnt ski on slopes that i couldnt ski......

i hear ya, same goes for anyone tho, people who cant ski the slope their on, except by slidslipping and snwoplowing, should not be there...its fuckin dangerous
 
wtf you have to pay for his medical bills?!? thats the most retarted thing ive ever heard. it was HIS fault, the patrol even agree with you. just say no and then if they take you to court, you got the patrol on your side.
 
yeah the only reason i didnt get in trouble was cause his dad was such a dickhead, and also knowing all the ski patrol for the past 10 years helped out too, but it ruined my day.....

I agree. I dislike people that think because they have kids and are rich, they own the mountain. Sadly it happens. Part of the skier responsibility code is "Do not stop in the middle of the slope where people cannot see you" Tell him that. good game...
 
The kid is lucky he got off with a broken collar bone. If I were there I would have hiked back up to the little brat and broke his spine.
 
Early season two years ago they didnt have any jumps built yet in my park. So I did what any asshole would do and hit the jump onto a rail going about 40 so I could land on the backside of the hill about 30 feet past the rail. Im in the air and my heart drops. There is a line of people (snowboarders) on the other side of the hill all waiting to jib some stupid box after the hill. So I am midair and I realise I'm gonna land about 3 feet before I hit this huge group of people. So I end up bailing and nailing al ittle kid prolly 8 years old or so in the back. He was crying but just because he was a baby I didn't do any real damage to him. I tried helping him out for a while, exchanged words with a few assholes and boogied.

Moral of the story, hitting rail jumps for air is for fags even if you are trying a really big gap on them. Also sitting in large unmanuverable lines on the backsides of rollers is very dangerous.
 
Dude, It's your fucking fault. The dad had every right to yell at you. The little kid was skiing, and you were behind him going to fast. He is IN FRONT OF YOU. You can see him, he can't see you. It is your job to be in control. Should of cut right instead. Just because you're stupider and older doesn't mean you should yell at a kid for "being in your way." It is your bad. Just don't be a dick about it
 
If it was on the landing of a jump, that is one thing, he shouldn't fucking be there, but if it's just on a trail, that's your fault
 
well it was on the landing of the jump but the jump hadnt been built yet there was a jib on top of the hill that I was boosting off of

I didn't mean you, I meant the post creator. you actually kinda hit a jump. he was on a fucking trail and not paying attention and going way to fast
 
Ohh I didnt read his story, yeah if you are boogying down the hill and you nail someone its your fault no matter how stupid and unpredictable of a pattern some pounder is skiing in.

No sympathy on this one, you shouldn't be airing or going off of blind stuff like that. Downhill skiers have the right of way as stupid as it may seem to you.

So stop complaining and buy the kid a fucking christmas present to make him feel better you monster. You ruined his whole holiday season. Hope you're happy.

Yeah, another part of the skier responsibility code says that you should be in control and able to stop and avoid shit below you. Still, If the Dad was smart he's ski directly behind the kid, so if anyone got run into it would be the dad. Then the story would have been completely different.
 
fuck that kid. i once hitted one kid who was on the landing area with my ski in the head when i was spinning. i fucking hate those kids.
 
happens to me all the time, which is why i became a ski instructor so i can make all of thouse annoying little kids more conscience of what is going on
 
exactly. It's just as much your fault as the little kids. If you're with a friend have them scout out the landing before you do something stupid.

and the kid shouldnt have been skiing on the landing
