FUck i bought some Sprangs and I'm gonna buy some Motherships and i was gonna do the Line binding that they SAID was supposed to available Dec. 1, but now not til Jan 15. What the fuck is with that?? FUCK>

whatever, there a little behind because they dont have a whole bunch of money. Line is sick and what j lev is doing for skiing is really a good thing.

i saw the new binding today in person, dont worry dude it will be worht the wait

What the hell were they doing with a car on the moon?... havent they gone far enough?

If the rest of the industry follows Line's example in a few years, ski bindings will be so much better.

yes, but if you ask me they need to get rid of the plate. the demo line binding that are at my local shop are really heavy. if they had seperate smaller plates on the front and the back part of the binding, i think it would work just as well and cut down on the wheight. the only downside is that in order to change the binding from ski to ski, you would have to do twice as many screws. just my 2 cents though.

Sleep is overrated. But i do it all the time anyways cause im a fucking poser.

Don't forget to honk when you drive by Vern Fonk!!!!

If they did that there would be no need for those holes. The whole reason the plate is there is so you just screw it into the already drilled (and etc.) line holes. Without the plate you'd be missing one important thing with the binding.

if you had 2 plates the ski wouldnt be able to flex underneath the binding... i saw the bindings thier are all chromed out an shit, worth the wait

eat at least 4 bannanas a day to help with your gorrila steeze

yeah, i saw the line binding last weekend and it looks very sweet. I can see how it will save skiers knees, when the back pivots, the front moves the opposite way, they look like they will be worth your wait

My shop said it will be the 15th too. it sucks balls. I've had my skogs and mos since october.

have you actually touched the line binding?!

Because I know a guy that knows a guy who gets his dog groomed by a person who's second cousin's step grandson actually said he touched them.

Eat. Sleep. Breathe. Ski.

250 bucks for a binding? I guess its worth saving your acl. But if your tear your acl that would easily save you 250 dollars in food and lift tickets. Unless you have a season pass. Then it wouldnt be worth it.

My girlfriend told me to shove my skis up my ass

haha, whoever said soemthing about two plates has done no research obviously. i f it was two plates it'd be the same as any other tom, dick, and harry binding out there. The plate is ONE piece so the two ends move oppositely in unison and so it can use the four hole, plus the whole free-flex thing. Whoever doubts the binding HASN'T seen it. Line has to put out a product that will work for sure, because it's such a far-out and skepticized thing that if it didn't work first time around then people would never give it a chance again. Go check it out and you'll be a believer. It's the fuckin biggest progression in skiing I've seen since the twin-tip.

What the fuck is with LINE, they have screwed over my whole christmas break. I got the new motherships and we have mad amounts of snow and i cannot fuckin ride them til the 15th, Fuck them.

250 for a binding isnt that expensive. most bindings from other companies with DINs that go up to 13 or 14(rossi axial 140,salomon 914,marker comp 1300, etc) go for around $300...so whoever said that, bad argument.

The Line bindings rule. Is it so bad that we have to wait another two weeks for THE MOST revolutionary product we've ever seen. This changes everything. Also, the binding is not heavier than anyother high end binding (Salomon 914 Poweraxe, Marker Piston Control, etc.) It just feels different in your hand, plus their demo board is much beefier and heavier than the other plastic demo boards other companies bindings are mounted on. Trust me, the binding on a ski is lighter than any other setup out there, including 1080s w/Salomon 810 Tis. Line isn't screwing anybody. It's not like they have the binding in their warehouse, and are just laughing saying let's ruin everyone's christmas, instead, Line has to depend on 20-30 outside suppliers who provide them with the raw material and parts for the binding. Line can only go off of what those suppliers told them in regards to when the materials should arrive at Line's factory. When those suppliers don't come through, it effects production. It's not an excuse, it's just simple fact. This binding is over three years in the making, and another couple of weeks is worth it to me so I can have a 110% perfect product instead of getting it last month with a flaw. Just my two cents.

It's not the 810's, but you are right. It was the 912's that are 179.

Itsbackfliptime is an idiot, obviously the hospital bill for a torn acl would be way more than $250. The Dancing Dot up there kinda had a good idea, but that would never happen because of all the screws and what not. They should make a Ti version with lighter and better components (it would cost more but be worth it).

i belive that there is some way for you to ski before jan 15th.... and even so it isnt that long

also, why is the scratch binding from rossignol not revolutionary like line's is?

S912 Ti's are $250 CAN everywhere near me, so that's about $175 US.

Ya, I kinda think the Line binding is a gimmick. The 4 hole thing I mean, not the new toe release thing. I cant think of anythime when I would need to take the bindings off my skis, I mean what the fuck. Why would I need to take my bindings off, why not just drill them in. Ya if you have two pairs of Lines or whatever, if I had two pairs of skis I rather just have two pairs of bindings on the also, or 3, or whatever. Ya, the new release is a good idea, but there really wasn't anything wrong with the old release system. I dont care, but I think there dumb.

The idea of being able to switch bindings between skis is great - I don't know what the hell your deal is. For a person who has a pack ski and a pow ski, the ability to use the same binding rocks - it's the same reason why I would get the bomber telebinding if I had two sets of skis (they mount on sub-plates, which can be ordered separately from the binding if you have more than one ski) and didn't worry about release issues.

Telefreeride: big boards, free heels, no poles, all soul

Ya, then your park ski and big mountain ski both have to be Line. It would be useful if all skis had the four hole, but just one company, it gay. The reason boarders have it is first because all boards use the same system, and second because everyone has a different stance width and different binding degrees on the front and back. With skis you dont change anything. Wow! you just screw them in the four holes and them leave them there, just like any other binding thats drilled in, big fucking deal. Plus it would be a pain in the ass to switch your bindings everytime you want to use a different pair of skis, you would strip those threads so fast. Boarders who have like 2 or 3 boards usually have like 2 or 3 sets of bindings too, they use the system for the custom stance. But whatever.

Gregg, don't get the fucking bombers. They suck nuts. And Shane Mcwannabe, i don't even know what to say to your stupid ass philosophy.

you know why the four hole design might actually get me off my concepts and onto line?

This is why. I ski coach, and sometimes instead of using my race skis i like to just throw on the concepts even though i probably wont have time to do anything but coach. The only reason i can do that is because the concepts with my derby plate are fairly stiff and i can still really crank out turns.

Now, i've always wanted some 1260's because they are a pure park ski, which obviously has it's benefits. The only thing is, i can't afford anothing FULL ski+binding setup, since that would make three, but i could possibly afford two new pairs of lines skis (keeping in mind that they are cheaper than race skis) and one pair of bindings for next season. No other company can offer me the option of only having to buy one pair of skis, while still being able to afford a ski i can actually most likely ski (possibly the maverick).

Now do you understand why it's an awesome idea.

Sorry if that made no sense, trying to type as i thought that out.

that binding will break in a day, just like the skis. And who will be able to setup and test the bindings, no one cause they are brand new and gay.

Yeti, get the darksides instead of the mavs. They will be better for racing if you are still getting the 1260s.

Baker - I currently use Skyhoy bindings, which are great for p-turns and tele-turns (not to mention the heel release which saved my knees a few times last week). I was just commenting on how nice it would be to use one binding for all of one's skis.

Telefreeride: big boards, free heels, no poles, all soul

hey chadatbreck, you have no clue. for the last three years, i haven't had any problems with my lines. and i haven't had any problems with the 03's and i was doin handrail to pavement for a few weeks. don't fucking blurt out a dembass remark because you ran over a pair with your car, or heard from a friend that they used to break when the company was new. asshole.

My Dragons are dying - I have topsheet and laminate peeling off on the tips, bubbling and tearing on the edges. I'm sending them in to Line at the end of this week for them to see if it's a warranty issue and to see if I will get a replacement.

I do wonder though, since the Dragons are no longer made, what they would offer as a replacement. Hopefully not the new Darksides (which I would hate since they don't have a twin)

Telefreeride: big boards, free heels, no poles, all soul

i am not going to be racing on them, i just need something that i can still ski to my full ability on when i don't feel like bringing out the race boards.
