The Line bindings rule. Is it so bad that we have to wait another two weeks for THE MOST revolutionary product we've ever seen. This changes everything. Also, the binding is not heavier than anyother high end binding (Salomon 914 Poweraxe, Marker Piston Control, etc.) It just feels different in your hand, plus their demo board is much beefier and heavier than the other plastic demo boards other companies bindings are mounted on. Trust me, the binding on a ski is lighter than any other setup out there, including 1080s w/Salomon 810 Tis. Line isn't screwing anybody. It's not like they have the binding in their warehouse, and are just laughing saying let's ruin everyone's christmas, instead, Line has to depend on 20-30 outside suppliers who provide them with the raw material and parts for the binding. Line can only go off of what those suppliers told them in regards to when the materials should arrive at Line's factory. When those suppliers don't come through, it effects production. It's not an excuse, it's just simple fact. This binding is over three years in the making, and another couple of weeks is worth it to me so I can have a 110% perfect product instead of getting it last month with a flaw. Just my two cents.
