yup, they sure fucked line in the ass but line should have thought of that before and been more careful. in conclusion, kiss makes a song i like but also fucked over my favorite ski company.

100% lines fault for not checking with them , im not hatin on line but its their fault dont blame kiss for something you would do for easy money
 
LINE could have talked to lawyers and got a thumbs up and then found out they were going to get shafted later, after ill advice. We don't know the circumstances for sure so don't go throwing 100% blame.

It's completely Line's fault and they deserve no sympathy. They tried to rip off a copywrighted image without permission and failed, there should be no arguing about it. If you're going to point a finger, make sure it is directed toward whoever had the idiotic idea to even try that move.
 
You are full of crap. Sure line was needed better legal advice/prompting but KISS is screwing over people over FREE advertising!
 
It isn't KISS people it is GENE SIMMONS. He owns the rights and he is the sue happy jewish bassist who calls all the shots. He's just pissed because Ace Freeley made the Anthem and he didn't.

They didn't need better legal advice, they needed legal advice. Period. Furthermore, stealing someone's image can hardly be considered free advertising. I'm sure if they wanted more advertising they'd ask for it, but as a household name I really don't think they need a small ski company "helping" them out.
 
Unless you can convince me they're an underground band. I think they're relatively well-known myself.
