Fuck ipods and fuck apple

and when your ipod doesnt work in the cold, which is frequent dont beat on it, i see this alot and all it does is makes the thing die, ipods suck like that but they still beat cd players and most mp3 players out there
 
You would be oh so correct if only CD-Player == iPod, however it does not. He was saying that while it was playing and he dropped it, the hard drive didn't get damaged. If it was damaged then it would skip and be unusable.
 
there are a lot of way more reliable mass storage mp3s out there, and you dont have to install itunes to use it. Ipods are a poor product, the only reason why everyone wants one is because it looks cool and because every kid has one. You shouldn't have to buy a case to make it work- if that's the cause than ipods should come with one. The prices ipods are at you could get a pocket PC which is about a million times better. Oh and by the way imacs aren't the greatest thing ever, maybe if you want to be forced to use certain crappy software.
 
i agree, they were built better, but have battery-life issues. My battery died after about 6months, and wouldn't hold a charge anymore. Annoying to fix; but still fixable.

and anyways, to the thread's author; if you hate Ipods so much go buy a Dell MP3 player, or any other brand and see how helpful they are if you have a problem with it.
 
i just dont get how they make ipods so cool and they work real well and they are jsut such an awesome peice of machinery and then they make them the most unreliable product ever it just doesnt make sense to me like why would they just not put more effort into the quality of them instead of just developping a new ipod every week.
 
because of the need to make them faster (mass produce) they've sacrificed quality for speed of production.
