Fuck eye drops!!

ok so i got pink eye on saturday and i figured id go to the doctor to see what i could do to speed up the healing process and he gives me some eye drops.

FUCK

i cant take eye drops, i dont know why my eye relfex's are to good and i just cant hold my open to let shit drop in like its nearly impossible. It doesnt help that last year i had to go to the hospital and they had to stick a needle in my eye.........while i was wide awake. so now im really sensitive/ squemish with my eyes.

is there anything i can do to make taking them easier??
 
i have like the same problem. what i do is i put the nozel thingy almost to my eye but far enough where if my eyeled were to shut the driper would still be able to drip in my eye. i dunno if it made sense but i tried

anyways, just drop that shit in the corner of your eye and let gravity bring it in.
 
stick the end of the dropper in the crease of your eye when its closed squirt a couple drops then blink a couple times and it will cover your eye
 
just take your thumb and pointer finger, put them on your eyelashes and pull it open. if you hold them open tight your eye cant close
 
I have the same problem, i just hold it open and look away and have a buddy or my mom do it for me and then you just blink and I'm good. I think its the easiest way to do it
 
yea i had to get over that reflex to wear contacts, now its no problem but i used to pinch the bottom of my eyelid and pull it out so it makes like a pocket and you can just drop the eyedrops in without tilting your head back and then close your eyes and look around.
 
one night i had to leave my house kinda suddenly to crash at my school's dorms so i packed up some shit real quick. I grab all this stuff without thinking because its all so standard; change of clothes, toothbrush, and what i thought were eyedrops for my contacts. Late that night my eyes start bugging me and i reach into the pack for my eyedrops. As soon as the first little droplet hit my eye i knew i'd fucked up.I realized that In my rush i'd grabbed contact cleaner (main ingredient is hydrogen peroxide) So im rolling around on the floor at like 2 in the morning trying not to yell and wake up the whole hall. Eventually i found my way to the bathroom and washed my eye out. Don't put hydrogen peroxide in your eye, it sucks.

All fucking day. Makes your eyes feel so clean, it's like going to the dentist for your eyes.
 
i have chronic eye issues too, so annoying.

someone might have described this but i couldn't tell.

tilt your head back, even better lay down.

while your eye is closed, put some drops in the crease closest to your nose. the drops will kind of pool there, and while you slowly open your eye, they will seep in.

just don't move your head so it doesn't run all over yo face!
 
ever give yourself an eye bath? you just stick a sort of cup thing over your eye with this medicated eye solution. its basically like coming for your eyes, its the shit. you wouldnt have to deal with the dropper, and its available at any pharmacy.

when I smoke generally my eyes stay crystal clear. but i like putting in eye drops so I do it anyways.
 
Hahahaha, your "coming for your eyes" made me realize how terrible I made Rohto sound with "going to the dentist for your eyes". I meant that badass feeling/taste of your teeth being as clean as they can possibly be, not the slow, agonizing process that is going to the dentist. Well-played.
 
I had pink eye when i was like 5 and one of my eyes got stuck shut when i woke up that morning. I was so scared, but then i got it open.
 
thats the sickest eye drop bottle ive ever seen! can you use it with contacts on? and can u get that in canada? ive never seen it before
 
I use it with my contacts all the time, not sure if you're supposed to but I haven't had any problems yet. Also couldn't tell you if it's in Canadia, check out your pharmacy, that's the best place to find them.
