This can not be stressed enough. Because of your fucking gaper asses I had to work 13 and a half hours straight today, no breaks. Also, all of your bible fucking groups of 17 year old Texans can suck a fat cock for not tipping me. I thought your were christians not fucking jews. I am going to devote at least an hour to spraying every single person on 4 o clock who rented skis from me today.

Also there are at least some hot girls usually in some of the bible groups and college groups, not this year. A bunch of mediocre looking, muffin top developing, whore painted southerners. Why can't we put all of you on trains and make you disappear. If wasn't for City Liquors 99 cent tall boys of Mickeys I would have set all of you on fire inside of Cecilia's to your deaths.

The only props of the day go to the customer who left their ginger ale and bourbon on the ground, which I promptly drank and the kid that laughed when I let out a nasty whiskey burp after assaulting the BV bottle.

the skiing wasnt that great yesterday, working wouldve sucked though too.... all of fucking texas and florida showed up here yesterday, city market was out of bread and shit, go home you damn gapers
 
season pass prices...just think about it...without them it is a 1200 dollar pass, just go to florida and texas when they come here in the spring/christmas time.

seeing that ski shops don't schedule you for 13 hours, he was probably expecting a split or a shorter shift. i know the feeling i did it 3 times this past christmas. working open to close without a break is a lot of fun. as for the 21 hr shift, hows your meth habit workin out?

I work at Christy's tough guys. You can't possibly piss me off more than the Texans, it is part of their genetic makeup to be completely illogical, complain and speak broken ass english. And it is one thing to work 13 hours in an actual job, not dealing with some dumbass complaining about a core shot on 6 year old rental skis that is slowing him down on the run under the Quicksilver lift. And to the guy saying I am just some kid who has never lived a resort town for the first time. I am probably older than you and have worked here for longer than you. And to the logical idea of 1200 dollar season passes if we didn't have many tourists, most jobs would reimburse your pass price, so it would be a moot point.

I guarantee that Durango hits someone in the roundabout by the end of the week.
 
Ok Ok Its the end of the season and everyone is a little burned out. I have definately felt like you do, thats why it seems like you are a little younger. I have worked in ski shops for the past 16 years, and a word of advice is get the hell out of the rental business. I turned the corner in my mid twenties and decided to accept the tourists for what they are...our meal ticket. FYI a season pass where I live is $1800 if you get it early without a discount and we would shrivel up and die if it were not for the tourists. Hang in there buddy it will be over soon.
 
i get a free season pass, i work for keystone. Simple way around it, even part timers and holiday help get free season passes. MOst ski shops around here, even if not owned by Vail, give free seasons too. Hell, my buddy who works at antlers liquors gets a free season pass.
 
i work at christy's in dillon. i had to stay an extra three hours yesterday putting away rental shit. it was a complete circus. whatever though, it's really only this week that sucks, the rest of the year is fine.
 
thank god i dont have to deal with the denver/texas joeys anymore. now i have to deal with aspen people and more texans, but atleast there are not as many, breck is a zoo right now i bet

They pay your bills you peice of shit, to live a lifestyle that you came to Colorado for from some shitty ass town in the midwest. Easy, the guy had a hard day. I was kinda bagin on him earlier in this thread, but the reality is that it has been a long season and it is coming to a close and lots of people that started out very cheerful and friendly are a bit burned out at this point. Hang in there everyone, end of the season is a time for partying and sunshine with some epic slush days thrown in. Spring breakers should be going home any day now and we can continue with our privleged lives.
 
I am not a midwest cake eater, if I was born there I would have already put a gun in my mouth. And I don't consider myself a real Breck local, I don't live there year and this will be my last year there. I don't really care if those douches pay my bills, there are many times where their bullshit is not worth their money. Just because I work in a rental shop doesn't mean I am stupid and you can talk down to me, I am probably better educated than them. Except for the guy last year who called himself doctor with the english PhD.

I am tired of customers complaining too. You gave me wet boots, oh my boots are 4 sizes too big, my boots don't fit in my bindings, my ski instructor said my skis shouldn't be a foot over my head. All of them can lick a fat cock.

Oh and when you complain about 22 dollars for skis, boots and poles then happily pay 70 something dollars for a half day lift ticket, go fuck yourself.

 
Damn, some of you guys are pretty salty. I will never live in Breck, but it won't be because of anything I have read here. Honestly though, no matter what the price, if someone I know (friends or family from the east coast) came to visit and needed rental gear and they got boots that were wet, skis that were a foot overhead or boots 4 sizes too big I would definately be asking for some correct shit. Its no fun to go on vaca only to have some rental monkey misfit your whole setup. On another note, if you hate spring skiing maybe try some hell bents in the slush. People haven't been calling them water skis all winter for nothing you know.

I don't think Breck would be bad, I just like it here. The millionairs don't ski so more for me, but it is pricey. Shit, I haven't been to Breckrnridge in years. If I move it will be to Canada or Alaska.

Go to florida, try surfing, and get laughed at by the surf instructors for looking and surfing like a retard. I am not claiming to be some amazing skier, I am a mediocre skier by Breck standards. And I sure as shit don't live in employee housing. I have surfed in Costa Rica.
