#7-Marijuana is cheaper than alcohol, ciggarettes, and almost any other drug when you take into account levels of intoxication

#8-Of the following drugs, marijauna, opiates, cocaine, nicotene, alcohol, and caffeine, marijuana has the least amount and severity of mental and physical dependance, mental and physical withdrawal, and illness.

#9-Marijuana has the most stable levels of intoxification compared to alcohol, opiates, and cocaine;AKA you are more mentally and physically able to do more things.

#10-in 1993 more than 750,000 people were arrested for simple possession of marijuana crimes.

yes, and very well said derek. also, legalization wouldnt do shit. theyd put an age limit on it like drinking, and kids would still smoke, and they would still get caught. plus the gvt would try to regulate it and do it just like cigarettes. it would have more negative effects than possitive, for smokers and non smokers.

And compairing smoking to drinking is stupid. Drinkings bad for your liver, and its pysichly addictive. weed is bad for your lungs and its mentally addictive (your lying to yourself if you think its not). both are bad for your nervous system. either way, niether is good for you, but your trading that for a little fun.

i do however think we should spend a lot less money on trying to prevent illegal drugs from getting into the country. thats where all your taxes go, not to keppin some kid in jail.

Asac, you need to chill out a bit. for a pot smoker, your excessively aggressive. You may have a point, but dont force it on people.

Finally, Jarrett is right, thats how 'marihuana' got criminalized in the first place, but the reason its not legalized is because the government cannot get any control over it. Its incredibly easy to grow, being a weed and all. If the government were to sell it, it would be with high prices, people could just go to their dealer and get it for cheaper.

yeah i dont really care if weed is legalized or not, ill smoke once a month or so anyways, and i wont get caught, i really havent expierienced any side effects because i dont smoke that often and i really dont see why everyone is tweaking out, they arent gonna legalize weed so dont be all pissed, and dont be stupid and get caught with it, its incredibly easy not to get caught unless your dealing you really shouldnt get caught so dont complain if you do get busted
