I just got my bill and Im over by 340 minutes adn 400 texts. $316.99 all due to the lovely folks at Verizon. Yeah, well FUCK YOU Verizon. Im throwing my cell phone away.

Sorry, Im pissed and thats my rant. Anyone else hate cell phones right now?
 
Hey relax Becky, your not alone. I went over on my minuets and shit too last month. Way over on txts. MY dad disabled about everything on my phone except txt because I told him I would only txt verizon to verizon b/c i have the "in" plan.

So I cant do much on my phone except call people and txt verizon to verizon. I still have 50 free to outside plans everymonth, but I still go over on those

yeah im sure its verizons fault you were a dumb bitch and went over ur minutes. because your ass sits on NS all day rather then going ot the www.verizonwireless.com site and looking up how many minutes you have used. how many txt you have left. and other random stuff that you will find can be useful if you learn to think and use your brain.

but yeah just blame verizon next time for suppling you with everythign you need and you being the ignorant fuck that cant take advantage of the situation and use the tool given to you in this world.

i must say, when people go over that much and stuff, except for extreme circumstances, its their own damn fault
 
I understand that its my fault but its still frustrating because I do check my minutes and texts but somehow I still go over. Its a bitch and Im not looking foward to paying this bill. And they told me that I had the Verizon to Verizon text plan, but I really didn't, I was only paying an extra $10 for 1000 text, so like 600 or so of the 1400 texts are between verizon people who I thought it was free to text. But it doesn't matter because Im throwing my phone away anyways.
 
^^ yea and then your gonna regret it because noone will be able to reach you. No one could get ahold of me really if I didnt have my phone..
 
yeah but still if you have the "IN" txt you are correct infinate to verizon people so ur 600 txt would be fine.

but you only get 50 txt for non-verizon ppl... so you would have had 750 txt over the limit, charging you what $.10 on each. so there is $75 atleast over just on txt
 
No, I have 1000 text for non-verizon people and I thought I had the in-texting thing, but I don't so theres a huge part of the problem there.
 
^ shit you wont throw your phone away, and plus i know it sucks big time to have to pay for over using your phone, the most ive gone over tho is only 50 min so i only had to pay like 30 dollars er somegthin, dont remeber but at least you werent in my friends situation he went over so much on his phone bill that they charged him 1,000 dollars, ahahah it sucked then he got it taken away for 5 months, anyways sometimes if you talk to the people at verizon wireless and explain to them taht you really didnt uase that many minutes thay will take off some money, so before you go off in a rampage try calling verizon wireless and seeing what they can do for, and if they dont help you then open up and bud-light and think about the refreshingness of the beer....

Yeah, but I can't stop the people who text me. And most of the time I call people when they text me because its easier than texting back which is probably a huge part of the problem as well.
 
see cellphones are good until a) u get ur bill and b) u wanna get away from being in contact with ur parents or anyone and u freaking cant...
 
Because Im on a family plan with my mom and brother who never use their phones so its way cheaper to have 700 minutes that I get the majority of between three people than 700 minutes just to myself. But Im going to look into other companies because the majority of those minutes are between me and my boyfriend and hes on AT&T or something like that.
 
damn i never use text messages and $340 is a lot of a damn money cell phone overage bill. Just don't talk to people just to talk. actually have a reason to talk to them. and don't just sit on your phone for hours at a time to see if someone wants to do anything. i think you need one of those minute managers.
 
Here's an idea. Stop spending so much god damn time on the phone. I have a plan that I share with my mother. I never ever go over my plan. Why do you ask? I know how to pace myself. I don't talk on my cell phone 24/7 i use the regular phone if i want to have a conversation for more than a few minutes. I am also a guy so I don't have much more to say than...hello..whats up...where we meeting...u got the beer/weed...hey honey...lets hang out later...that's about it.
 
i feel your frustration the worst is when people call u or text you and u r trying to sotp so u dont go over so u dont text themback "don't text me" cuz that would waste a text so they keep doing it or other people keep doin git, just tell people u don't have it or sumtn and then when u wanna use it do
 
i share a plan with my gf. she's the only person i ever talk to for more than like a minute. even then i won't talk to her for more than like 5 to 10 minutes. she still manages to use all our minutes though talking to her fat roomate all day and we still don't go over. get cingular.
 
Im just gonna switch to whatever my boyfriend has. I think its AT&T. But they get shitty service up at the mountain while Verizon is the the only company with full service up there so I don't know how thats gonna work out.
 
AT&T is absolute crap. I have a college buddy that worked for them and he even said his own company was horrible.

i would definatly try to ge thim to switch over to verizon, and tell him its way better service than AT&T
 
But he lives in CO and whatever hes on (I think its AT&T, not sure though) is the only company that has service up at the mountains he rides at.
 
I got my first cell a month or two ago and I had them disable texts right there in the store, I can't receive them from other people, well I guess I can but it doesn't show up on my phone and it doesn't tell them I didn't recevie it.

Regardless you have a long distance boyfriend, it's your fault
 
yeh thast why i dont so cellphones, u can get along fine without one and they are hella expensive
 
ya pretty much.

Verizon is shitty because they sold me a phone with "bluetooth" but it is restricted so I cant transfer my vids/pics to my computer so I still have to pay them every time I want to email myself a pic I took.
 
how many months was this over? there's no way you sent 1400 txt's in a month, that's retarded.

one month i had 2309 minutes and that was with a family plan when i had cingular. it ended up being like 600 dollars. i got in trouble

verizon is dope. my phone always gets service, and the only time I have ever had to pay extra on my phone bill was when I went out of the country and didn't use my phone card. just a lesson that taking the extra minute to use a $10 phone card is a lot better than paying a $150 bill. so, you really shoud be saying 'fuck I'm stupid' because you uh ruined your cellphone fun level for yourself!
 
My bro went over by more than 1000 minutes one month while talking to his girlfriend (they were apart for a summer). It added something like $900 to the bill. When my parents got it, they called Verizon because they thought that it was off by a decimal place.
 
i have verizon, just fucking get unlimited text, its 5 bucks a month plus like 5 cents for each text someone sends you. its the shit, and you need to call people after 9, seriously you dont talk to your significant other at 4 in the afternoon, wiat until you have free minutes.
